Inside the cell, the tattooed man fought to regulate his rapid breathing and suppress the frantic pounding of his heart that threatened to shatter his ribs. And now that Lucy had imbued them with a rich flow of her mana—reprograming their codes instantly after analyzing the facility’s electronic lock algorithms through her transcendent magical eyes—these cards were capable of overriding and bypassing the most formidable lock encryptions, disabling their security response the instant they touched any electronic scanner!
Now, the only remaining step for this airtight plan was to deliver these charged keycards to the tattooed man through a tiny dimensional tear, put the remaining guards patrolling the corridor to sleep with a subtle slumber spell, and trigger alarms across all sectors to initiate a full emergency state and paralyze high command!
