Yako felt a surge of excitement. It was a pity they were in the Hokage's Office; with so many people present, it wouldn't escalate into a full-blown disaster.

Seeing Jiraiya forming hand seals, Lynx drew a kunai from his tool pouch and darted straight toward Jiraiya's throat.
Orochimaru moved as well, targeting Lynx.
Two snakes lunged from Orochimaru's sleeves. One bit down on the wrist holding the kunai, stopping Lynx's blade from thrusting into Jiraiya's throat.
The other snake coiled around Lynx's neck, tightening its grip on his throat.
Seeing a flash of regret appear in Jiraiya's eyes, Yako knew they wouldn't actually come to blows.
He immediately formed hand seals of his own. The Self-Cursing Bind spread outward in all directions, locking down Lynx, Orochimaru, and Jiraiya.
