Inside the Jonin Council's examination room.
Yako stood behind Nara Shikaku, watching Hakuyo undergo his assessment.
"The interview assessment begins now. I will ask you three questions. You are not allowed to hesitate; give me the very first answer that comes to your mind. Hesitation will be considered a failure," Nara Shikaku said.
"If the village sent you deep undercover into the Land of Bears for thirty years, what would you do?"
"There are no important figures in the Land of Bears worth a thirty-year deep-cover mission from an Anbu operative," Hakuyo answered instantly. "Unless the goal is to take complete control of the country."
Upon hearing this, Nara Shikaku immediately turned to glance at Fox. He remembered that when Fox had been asked this exact question, his line of thinking had been identical.
Hakuyo continued, "I would stage an insect cocoon puppet show inside the Tenshu Castle of the Daimyo of the Land of Bears.
"I'd turn the key figures within Tenshu Castle into human cocoons. Their skin would look perfectly normal, but the flesh and blood underneath would be devoured and replaced by Parasitic Destruction Insects.
"On the surface, Tenshu Castle would be full of living people. In reality, they would all be walking insect cocoons.
