After returning the bodies of the Cloud Ninja squad to the assassinated noble's estate and comforting his grieving mother, Yako led his team back to the main camp.

It depicted the border between the Land of Hot Water and the Land of Moon.
Scattered along the border were various red and blue circles.
The red circles marked where Cloud Ninja had appeared, while the blue circles indicated where Konoha forces had intercepted them in combat.
Yako gestured for Hakuyo to mark the location of their recent skirmish.
Once Hakuyo finished, Yako stepped up to Hatake Sakumo.
Any truly important communication between the two of them was handled through the ninja hound, Pakkun.
