The Yellow Dog Brigade returned to the Frontline Camp laden with the spoils of war.
The tents of the Frontline Camp sat among the low, rolling hills of the central Land of Whirlpools, where the drainage was good.
Inside the Command Headquarters tent, Yellow Dog reported to Danzo and Bell Uchiha.
Bell Uchiha read from the mission report scroll:
“The Anbu Yellow Dog Brigade killed Hozuki Ryogetsu, wielder of the Twin Swords Hiramekarei, on this mission.
“Furthermore, you used the Twin Swords Hiramekarei to bait three Mist Ninja brigades into an ambush.
“Two Mist Jonin eliminated, along with more than forty standard Mist Ninja. And your brigade suffered only twenty casualties.”
Bell Uchiha lowered the scroll, his eyes wide with astonishment.
If a regular Konoha brigade had pulled off a mission like that, it would have birthed a war hero on the spot.
