"Your Wind Release sword technique is quite impressive," Yako said. "You unleashed several wind blades with just a single hand seal. Minimal hand seals, fast casting speed, and high attack power. Once trained to its peak, this jutsu is more than enough to serve as a Jonin's core ability."
"Jonin Copper Fox, this jutsu is called the Vacuum Sword," Hayama Shirakumo replied. "It is a reward Lord Sakumo bestowed upon me after I completed a set quota of missions on the Land of Rivers battlefield."
"I am incredibly grateful for Lord Sakumo's reward. Otherwise, I don't know how much time I would have wasted trying to find a core ninjutsu that suited me."
"I see. So it was Lord Sakumo," Yako said.
Yako already knew this. He had happened to see Hatake Sakumo grant Hayama Shirakumo that very ninjutsu back in the Land of Rivers, but he wanted to hear Shirakumo's personal assessment of the man.
"Hayama, handle the cleanup here. I still need to interrogate the member of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen we captured."
"Understood, Jonin Copper Fox."
Yako walked over to where Antelope and two other operatives were guarding Hozuki Ryogetsu. He signaled for the three of them to leave; he would interrogate the prisoner alone.
