Yako guarded Chinkuri's back while observing the battle between the Konoha and Suna ninjas out on the sea.
Every ship anchored just offshore had burned. The wreckage of twelve vessels listed in the water.

Building a ship took the better part of a year, but burning one down took barely half an hour.
The Daimyo of the Land of Wind would be furious. The Hidden Sand Village was simply too weak if it couldn't even protect his crucial assets.
Over by the pier warehouses, Konoha ninjas had already broken inside and were destroying the supplies from within.
The fighting around the exterior, however, was locked in a bitter stalemate.
Two Suna ninjas appeared beside Yako.
They noticed that the Konoha ninja in front of them kept glancing around, occasionally pausing in a sluggish daze.
