Chapter 126: A Good Five-Star Anbu Captain
Once the Sika Deer Squad had recovered, Yako gathered the entire squadron together.
He held up a ninjutsu scroll and said, "The prisoner exchange was evaluated as an A-rank mission overall, while most of your individual performances were rated B-rank.
"I was pleased to see the resolve many of you displayed during this assignment.
"This is especially true for the Sika Deer Squad. Your convincing self-mutilation perfectly deceived the Sand ninja exchange team, creating the opening we needed for our final ambush.
"I have applied for new ninjutsu for you as a reward.
"Choose from these six techniques, and try to pick the ones that best suit you."
Fire Release: Fire Dragon Bullet, Fire Release: Dragon Fire Technique, Earth Release: Earth Spear, Wind Release: Great Breakthrough, Lightning Release: Earth Flash, and Water Release: Water Encampment Wall.
Four of these were provided by Captain Yellow Dog, while the remaining two were Yako's own techniques.
Using his personal ninjutsu to reward his subordinates truly made him a good, five-star Anbu captain.
