Koi Chisa raised her hand, wanting to say something more, but Beikyoku was already nowhere to be seen.
'How hateful,' she thought with a deep pang of resentment. 'Why am I so weak? Every night I was tossed about until I fell asleep early from sheer exhaustion, never once discovering Beikyoku's true face.'

A large group of samurai, along with Koi Chisa's handmaidens, rushed up to her.
Seeing that Lady Koi Chisa was unharmed, her handmaiden breathed a sigh of relief. "My lady, let us return to Kyoto quickly. There are Konoha guardian ninja in Kyoto. Konoha is currently at war with the Hidden Sand Village, and anywhere outside of Kyoto is far too dangerous."
"Very well. We will return and proceed with the foundation-laying ceremony," Chisa replied.
