Chapter 76: The Three Ino-Shika-Cho Clans Are All Perverts
Black Ape looked at Yako, recognizing Fox's voice. His eyes lit up with immense surprise.
"How did you find me?" Black Ape asked, though his eyes quickly dimmed. "Actually, it's pretty easy, isn't it? There are only a dozen or so Akimichi ninjas in the entire clan compound who have lost both arms. If you check them one by one, it wouldn't take long to find me."
"Yeah. I had to ask around, one by one, until I found you," Yako said. He didn't mention that he had actually just gotten the information from the gossiping aunties at the intersection. Claiming he searched for him one by one seemed a bit more sincere.
"Why are you moving?" Yako asked.
"I haven't had an income since I retired," Black Ape replied. "My wife retired even earlier to take care of the house. We can't afford to keep living in a place this nice. That damn woman of mine said we needed to downsize early so we can save up money to raise our daughter."
Yako sat to the side, watching a few young Akimichi clan members move the furniture.
"Judging by your tone, has your wife been giving you a hard time since you retired?" Yako mused for a moment before adding, "I can give you some money. It's not like I have kids to raise anyway. Consider it your secret stash. Just make sure you practice using your feet as hands as soon as possible, or else you won't even be able to dig your own stash out of hiding."
If worse came to worst, he figured he would just have to make Kyoi suffer a bit and run up a tab at her place.
"It's not that she's been giving me a hard time!" Black Ape said indignantly. "It's that she's been lying to me! Lying to me for over a decade! Women are all liars! Not a single one of them is any good!"
