Chapter 71: The Death of Nawaki
Over ten days later, a female Uzumaki ninja rushed into the remote rainforest, crying as she ran. "Yuka! Yuka! Disaster!"
Yuka jumped down from the treehouse.
The other female Uzumaki ninjas heard the agonizing cries and hurried over.
After a brief exchange, the women of the Uzumaki Clan collapsed in the rain one by one.
Only Uzumaki Yuka remained standing, though with great difficulty. She tilted her face to the sky, letting her tears flow freely, mingling with the rainwater before falling into the mud beneath her feet.
The young master of the Senju Clan, Senju Nawaki, was dead!
Fox was the Senju Clan's spy in the Anbu. He had clearly uncovered the intelligence, and had explicitly warned the young master in advance.
Yet, the young master had still died.
Rumor had it that the Hidden Stone Village had claimed responsibility. They proudly declared that they had killed the Senju Clan's young master, extinguishing Konoha's most dazzling genius of the past ten years, as proportional retaliation for the Mount Ushiga trap.
