"Is there darkness within the Hidden Leaf Village?" Orochimaru answered based on the phenomena he had observed.
"First, you have to acknowledge the vast diversity of the human heart.
"Some hearts are good, and some hearts are evil. This is an objective reality that you cannot change. The vile deeds of evil people are an inevitability.
"Second, some people employ dark methods to achieve bright ends, while others employ bright methods to achieve dark ends.
"Many things appear bright on the surface yet harbor darkness underneath. There are also things that look dark, but their ultimate purpose is bright.
"Nothing is ever absolutely right or absolutely wrong; you must look at which stage the matter is currently in."
Orochimaru's words left the two members of the Sarutobi Clan and Shimura Clan completely bewildered.
Nawaki nodded. Teacher Orochimaru's words were entirely correct, but unfortunately, he simply could not accept them.
Why couldn't the people in the village join hearts and minds to build up the village, instead of giving rise to every kind of darkness?
