The 14th had finally arrived.
Throughout the day, people came and went within the Senju Clan Compound without any abnormalities.
Late at night, Yako stood atop the Hokage Rock, looking far off toward the Senju Clan Compound through a telescope.
Behind him, Kamba Senju and Kamoike waited patiently.
Watching Yako lower the telescope, Kamba Senju asked, "Was the Anbu truly involved in the extermination of the Uzumaki clan?"
Yako nodded. "Of course they were. Konoha's slow response was highly abnormal. The Cloud Ninja and Mist Ninja had already attacked Uzushiogakure, yet Konoha's intelligence network supposedly knew nothing. That's simply too bizarre."
Kamba Senju nodded. His son hadn't died at the hands of a spy, but had been killed by the Konoha Anbu for making contact with the remnants of their in-laws, the Uzumaki clan.
It was impossible for his son to have died so silently in an alley of Konohagakure. Someone must have disguised themselves as an acquaintance to launch a successful sneak attack.
Yako said, "The Uzumaki clan survivors believe that the Konoha Anbu severed Uzumaki Mito's communication with the outside world using the transfer of the Nine-Tails' seal as an excuse.
