The three squad members reported their findings to Yako.
"Captain Fox, the target's bed is too neat. He didn't unroll his quilt last night; he only lay on the bed. The indentations on the mattress layers show he didn't toss or turn. It seems he was staring at the ceiling the whole time."
"Captain Fox, the target didn't enter the bathroom last night. There are no water stains inside."
Yako felt a twinge of suspicion. "The target spent the evening entangled with such a well-endowed female ninja. Normally, wouldn't he come home and do something? Not using the bathroom, just lying stiffly on his back in bed—that's too abnormal. He's highly suspicious."
Behind her mask, Purple Cat's pretty face flushed again. What did he mean, 'wouldn't he come home and do something'? Could men really not control themselves when they returned home after being intimate with a woman?
Antelope spoke up last. "Captain, the target used a brush pen last night."
Yako frowned. "That's even stranger. He turned off the lights and drew the curtains early last night. Why would he use a brush?"
The squad left the room.
Back at Anbu headquarters, Purple Cat saw Squadron Captain Black Ape call Captain Fox away. She didn't know what new mission had been assigned.
