Since the Land of Moon falls within the Hidden Cloud Village's sphere of influence, their Anbu and spies will take over the pursuit. We can return to the village."
Along the eastern coastline of the ninja world continent, the nations lay arranged from south to north: the Land of Fire, the Land of Hot Water, the Land of Moon, and the Land of Lightning.
If the Uzumaki remnants wanted to flee, they could only choose between the Land of Hot Water and the Land of Moon.

Given the Anbu's strength and the immense importance Konoha placed on Kushina, those remnants would likely never see her again before they died. Uzumaki Kushina would never know the truth behind the massacre of her clan.
