Chapter 517: Why Am I a Hidden Stone Village Spy?
At the border of the Land of Lightning, Uchiha Obito watched Fox fighting the Raikage. Joy flashed in his eyes as he activated Kamui and vanished.
Uchiha Obito appeared inside the Hidden Leaf.
Inside a Hidden Leaf training ground, Yokaze wore a dark expression as he silently practiced his taijutsu.
Uchiha Obito approached him and asked, "How was the scroll? Do you finally believe you're a spy for the Hidden Stone Village?"
Yokaze swallowed hard. He pulled a scroll from his ninja tool pouch and stared at it in a daze.
This scroll was a file—his mother's file.
It contained a childhood photo of his mother, Kyoi, with her family of four. In the picture, both of his grandparents wore Stone Ninja Headbands.
His mother and aunt were smiling so happily.
Later, his mother entered the Iwagakure Ninja Academy. Thanks to her outstanding grades, she was pulled out of school, given a fabricated identity as a war orphan from the Land of Grass, and sent into the Hidden Leaf.
