Nara Shikaku, Yamanaka Inoichi, and Akimichi Choza led a squadron of ninja onto the beaches of the Land of Water.
Nara Shikaku had taken on a hunting mission: track down and eliminate the Hidden Mist Village's strongest team, the Seven Ninja Swordsmen.
He cast another glance at the back of their formation toward Might Duy—the only ninja present without a flak jacket, and still a Genin.
Lord Fox valued Might Duy so highly; he surely had his reasons.
Not long after they came ashore, two scout ninja returned from the vanguard.
"Jonin Shikaku! The Seven Ninja Swordsmen fled east! They encountered a Hidden Leaf Genin squad consisting of Might Guy, Shiranui Genma, and Ebisu!"
Before Nara Shikaku could respond, Might Duy suddenly rushed over from the rear.
"What! Guy's squad ran into the Seven Ninja Swordsmen?"
"Might Duy! Don't do anything rash," Nara Shikaku urged quickly. "We'll—"
