When dawn broke the next day, it was a rare overcast morning without rain.
Everyone from the Uzumaki clan gathered beneath Fox's treehouse. The ground was completely flooded; living in the rainforest meant they could only reside up in the trees.
Yako stepped out of the treehouse and waved his hand, using Wood Release to create a platform. He looked down at the forty or so Uzumaki ninjas below.
"The Uzumaki clan's hideout has been exposed, and the Land of Rain is no longer safe," he said.
"Princess Tsunade of the Senju clan is now the sole advisor beneath the Hokage in Konoha.
"The great ninja war is about to begin. I know your feelings toward Konoha are complicated, but survival comes first.
"Only by surviving will you have a future. Only by surviving can you have anything.
"Please, enter Konoha. This is my intention, and it is Princess Tsunade's as well.
"I promise to guarantee your safety within the village.
