Chapter 367: Pushing Yellow Dog to Become an Advisor
Upon returning to the Anbu base, Yako immediately summoned sub-squad captain Kaba.
Kaba was baffled, unsure what the deputy commander wanted with him.
"Kaba, Lord Yellow Dog and I have discussed a few things, and we have some tasks for you," Yako said.
"Advisor Homura Mitokado's sacrifice is undeniably tragic.
"However, it leaves a vacancy among the high-ranking advisors. This is an opportunity—an excellent opportunity.
"You understand the higher-ups, Kaba. They are all experienced, entrenched advisors. Positions don't open up easily.
"Lord Yellow Dog has decided to compete for the position of Foreign Affairs Advisor."
At this, Kaba's eyes instantly brightened.
He was Yellow Dog's subordinate; if Yellow Dog became an advisor, wouldn't his own authority grow even greater?
