I Survived in Anbu to Become Super Kage

All the Anbu operatives looked toward the stage, waiting for the Third Hokage to announce their new leader.

"During the mission to hunt down rogue ninjas in the Land of Grass, the Deputy Head, Captain Wildcat, and others sacrificed themselves for the Hidden Leaf," the Third Hokage said.

"These Anbu ninjas, their hearts filled with a profound Will of Fire, burned their lives away for the village.

"The Anbu is one of the Hidden Leaf's most vital institutions, protecting the village from the shadows.

"The duties of the Anbu cannot be suspended.

"I hereby announce that Fox will serve as the new Deputy Head of Anbu!"

Standing to the side, Yako nodded to the crowd before taking his seat.

With this, Yako had finally secured a seat at the table.

During the second great ninja war, the Anbu had suffered heavy losses—or rather, total annihilation time and again—under Danzo's command.
