Chapter 324: The Question Is, Who Is Suited to Be the Anbu Deputy Commander?
Yako returned to Yuka's side and said, "Yuka, the Anbu Deputy Commander, Lynx of the Shimura clan, is dead. Next, hide in the Uzumaki clan's sanctuary and don't come out for now. There will be a great battle in the Land of Rain. I still have a mission; I'm going to meet Uchiha Madara."
Yuka thought Fox was going to snatch back Nagato Uzumaki.
"Fox, don't take the risk," she said hurriedly. "Didn't you say Uchiha Madara is grooming Nagato? Please don't do anything dangerous."
"It's fine. I'm just going to say hello to Uchiha Madara. I know my limits."
Yako and Yuka underwent reverse summoning at the same time. Yuka returned to the depths of the rainforest in the southwestern part of the Land of Rain, while Yako arrived in the northeast, continuing his pretense of searching for Uchiha Madara.
Land of Grass.
Sarutobi Hihaku found Lynx's forehead protector. It was melted and covered in black spots, likely the scorched residue of blood from the explosion.
A Hyuga Ninja from the reconnaissance squad said, "Jonin Hihaku, in the final moments of the explosion, Lord Lynx did everything he could to leap away. However, the blast radius was too large and the power too immense. Lord Lynx was killed. He only left behind this melted forehead protector."
The Hidden Leaf symbol on the forehead protector was warped and distorted, much like Sarutobi Hihaku's current mood.
