Wang Zhen’an vaguely sensed that this place was connected to the Illusion Array, so he strode forward with the wind at his heels. After taking a few steps, he couldn’t help but turn his head to look back.

Gu Yun looked up. On the plaque above the magnificent gate were carved the two powerful words "Prince Mansion." Before the gate stood a pair of imposing stone lions, and the eaves above boasted green tiles and vermilion roof ridges. The entire estate exuded an air of grandeur and authority.
"Not bad," Gu Yun said with a slight nod.
"Boss Xiao," Wang Zifan said, his expression turning serious, "I’ll take you to our Wang Family’s Library Pavilion in a bit. It’s filled with all sorts of accounts of strange phenomena, histories of the Great Yuan, and chronicles of the changes in the Southern Wilderness. You might find something worthwhile there."
The two then walked past the guards and through the imposing gate. The grounds within were filled with pavilions and galleries. There was even a martial arts training ground the size of a large field, surrounded by halls. The entire Prince Mansion was immensely vast.
The two headed straight for the Library Pavilion. Soon, Wang Zifan and Gu Yun stood before an ancient, rustic, three-story-high building.
After Wang Zifan exchanged words with the guard on duty, Gu Yun entered the building. Inside were rows upon rows of shelves, all filled with books. Gu Yun began to browse, picking up volumes one by one: Southern Wilderness Anomalies, History of the Great Yuan, Extraordinary People of Heaven and Earth...

Meanwhile, thousands of miles from Guangping City, high above a range of overlapping ridges and clustered peaks, two figures flickered and clashed violently in mid-air. The incessant, sharp clang of weapons striking echoed as the thick clouds around them were utterly dispersed, allowing moonlight to spill down.
Following a powerful clash that sent gusts of wind sweeping in every direction, Yue Zhentian shot backward across the sky, cursing inwardly, ’Damn it! That Lin Xuance is truly inhuman!’

Suddenly, the empty space behind Yue Zhentian rippled. In the next moment, Lin Xuance materialized. A cold light flashed in his eyes, a look one gives to a dead man—incomparably frigid. An instant later, he abruptly swung his razor-sharp sword, tearing through space and slashing toward Yue Zhentian’s neck with the force of a thunderbolt!
Yue Zhentian’s pupils constricted. He instantly felt a razor-sharp sense of mortal danger. Every muscle in his body tensed. Relying on his vast combat experience, his body reacted instinctively, spinning and sweeping his long spear behind him to cleave the air and intercept the incoming sword!
