Chapter 34 - 20 Years Later
’You got quite a few answers to give then, Lust.’
Even though Lust removed three questions out of the equation, counting them invalid, Fredrinn still felt that he had made his deal worth it.
He wasted some time on thinking and kissing for so long, but nothing is perfect.
So just like always, he chose to look at the pros and not cry about the things that could’ve been done better.
Though, he did make a note in his mind to always keep a few LPs on the spare and not be completely out of them.

[ Is everyone in my family alive? Why is Earth under the apocalypse all of a sudden? Why does everything feel different around here? What is the system archive? How many hosts are there in the universe? ]
[ <LUST> reminds that the questions will only be answered concisely and the answers will not be explained as host can’t expect 5 star treatment at the cost of roadside bread. ]

[ Host’s family is still alive. Mother, Father, Dog, Sister. ]
[ Earth is under the apocalypse due to S.H.I.T ]
[ Since host has forgotten to define the arbitrary term ’different’, Lust will answer from a broader perspective. Host may find Earth ’different’ because in Earth, it has been 20 years since host’s disappearance. ]
[ System Archive is a divine being that is the archive of countless systems. ]
[ There are 139 hosts of Lust across the univer– 138 now. ]
Fredrinn read through the notifications at a fast pace.
And he was surprised, to say the least.
He felt happy that his family was still alive, and felt shocked that 20 years had passed since he disappeared.
Quickly, he turned on Richard’s phone that he was carrying, and saw that the date wasn’t visible on the lockscreen.
So after fiddling around a bit, he finally found the calendar... and nearly dropped the phone on top of Andrea’s face.
The year showed that it was 2031, and he remembered that he went missing in 2011...
’But it’s good that everyone’s still alive. Even the dog? That’s surprising considering that I heard the dog’s lifespan is below 15 years?’
Of course, the doubt popped in his mind but he couldn’t do anything about it since Lust’s deal had already expired and he barely had any LP left on him.
In fact, only 15 LPs are left now.
’When I disappeared, this girl might not even have been born...’ A thought popped in Fredrinn’s mind as he glanced at the laying Andrea on his lap.
She still faced away from him, and her hair was sprawled all over his crotch.
Every few moments, she moved her thighs slightly and quivered on his lap, but Fredrinn thought it was because of the cold or nightmares.
And finally... after dealing with the shock and surprise of the situation... Fredrinn looked at the screen in front of his eyes hatefully.
Was this a joke?
Apocalypse happened because of SHIT?
System archive is the archive of systems?!?! LIKE HE WOULD’VE NEVER GUESSED THAT!!!
And what was the bullshit about 139 hosts and then instantly reducing it to 138?!
Is being a host that scary??
Should he be worried???
Fredrinn felt that ever since he received this hateful sin, his control over his emotions has been loosening slowly but surely.
He never used to lose his cool for even a second, but now he spent several minutes cursing the system in his mind.
How could someone... thing, whatever it was, how could it be so annoying?!
Fredrinn released a long sigh out of his mouth, placing his hand on the bare shoulder of Andrea as she flinched against the touch before relaxing slightly.
He just did it to calm her down from her nightmares, but he didn’t expect her body to react like that.
How sensitive was she even?
Of course... if Andrea could hear his thoughts, she would’ve doubled down on her string of curses.
After all, he was half the cause of her feeling so sensitive!
She stopped rubbing her thighs against each other, and Fredrinn also didn’t make any moves after keeping his hand on her shoulder.
The peace was restored and even though some crazy and unexpected things had popped up recently, Fredrinn didn’t forget the reason this all Lust fiasco began.
He wanted to connect to mana and try to consciously heal his circuits again.
He would need his power in the apocalypse outside.
Fredrinn also felt very glad about his entire family still being alive, even though some doubts were still there.
He remembered a baby, but only now he was confirmed that it was his little sister.
He couldn’t even begin to imagine how much she could’ve grown in all these years.
And just as the thought popped up in his head, his calmness was shaken once again.
Andrea was on his lap and looking at her youthful appearance, he gulped silently.
Wouldn’t his sister be nearly the same age as the woman in his lap?
After comparing the image of his sister, which was a small baby still wrapped in blankets, he was hit with shame.
He was doing ’adult’ things with a woman that’s at least 100 years younger than him.
[ <LUST> reminds the host that age is just a number. As long as it’s approved by the law, it’s okay to do it raw. ]

Fredrinn heard Lust’s suggestion in his mind clearly, and it indeed helped him escape the moral hole he was digging for himself; but he refused to comment on its words.
He ignored Lust and his thoughts both coughing softly before closing his eyes once again.
And unlike before, it didn’t take him 2 seconds till he felt some shiny blue beads of energy floating in the air.
He felt that Lust had cheated him out of the 100 LP, and it might have, but Fredrinn couldn’t deny the results.
His mana circuits were completely dried out and fried, needing mana to get nourished or they would require a ton of his body’s stamina to heal.
So the moment he opened his mind and body to the surrounding mana, a magical scene occurred.
All the mana in his close vicinity began to get sucked into his body!
