To be precise, it was coming from the apartment across the hall.
’Are they moving out?’
The thought had just crossed Shen Nian’s mind when Luo Bin walked out of the apartment opposite hers.

"Mrs. Lu, I’m not the vice group leader anymore."
"My apologies."

Shen Nian didn’t say much more to Luo Bin. She turned, went back into her apartment, and closed the door. Then, she let out a heavy sigh.

With Lu Cheng not at home, Shen Nian certainly wasn’t going to sit around idly. After tidying up the apartment, she headed out.
First, she went to check on her vegetable patch. Although there had been a slight delay before, Shen Nian had since sown the entire plot with seeds.
She had even used a diluted mixture of the Spiritual Spring Water—the same kind she prepared for Shen’s Farm—on this patch. It would make her vegetables exceptionally high-quality without raising too much suspicion.

Aside from the He Family’s supermarket, there were plenty of other businesses eager to partner with Shen’s Farm.
However, Shen’s Farm had already signed an exclusive agreement with the He Family in the provincial capital, so all those other businesses could do was stare on in envy.
After checking on the vegetable patch, Shen Nian remembered they were running low on meat at home. When Lu Cheng came back, she wanted to cook a nice meal to reward him for his hard work. So, she decided to leave the corporate complex and go buy some groceries.
Just as Shen Nian reached the complex entrance and was about to head out, she suddenly saw a figure rush past her from behind, beat her to the exit, and leave.
