"Shuxin, I think I did something I shouldn’t have. I think... I hurt someone!"

Seeing the look on Chu Lingxiu’s face, Gu Shuxin didn’t dare to take the matter lightly. She was afraid Chu Lingxiu had really done something terrible and would drag her into it!

Hearing Gu Shuxin say she would be fine, Chu Lingxiu finally let out a sigh of relief. She had been on edge for two days, terrified of what might happen.

Gu Shuxin paid no mind to Chu Lingxiu being scolded by her grandfather. Instead, the moment Chu Lingxiu said the name Shen Nian, she immediately latched onto it.

As she asked, Gu Shuxin even shifted her posture slightly, adopting what she considered to be her most elegant pose.
