Chapter 593: Something Strange
The Golden Feather Eagle spread its wings and climbed high, piercing through the clouds and racing northeast.
The gale wind howled past, snapping the robes of those on its back.
Chen Qing stood at the very front of the eagle's back with his hands clasped behind him, his gaze reaching past layer upon layer of mountain ranges and cloud seas toward the distant horizon.
At his side, Li Yujun and several Tianbao Upper Sect stewards stood on other Golden Feather Eagles, all of them focused on regulating their breathing.
After the battle at the Lingxiao Upper Sect, everyone made full use of the journey home to consolidate their cultivation.
"Lineage Master Li," Chen Qing spoke suddenly. His voice remained clear and steady even in the wind, "Is that the Jade Capital City region ahead?"
Li Yujun raised her eyes. At the very edge of the horizon, a vague outline could be faintly seen in the distance.
It was Jade Capital City, the heart of the Yan Kingdom, the center of its power.
"That is correct," Li Yujun gave a slight nod, "We should arrive at the city outskirts in a little under half an hour."
