Honkai Impact: My VR Harem is Real

Chapter 249: Yuki Wants to Sortie

“Him again?” Rovel raised an eyebrow, leaning back against the headboard.

Yuki nodded, her expression turning serious. “That guy seems to be planning to relocate his entire family to Shenzhou now.”

“What’s the meaning of this?” Rovel crossed his arms, his eyes narrowing slightly. “I remember our first encounter vividly. The man practically spat on my shoes and called me ‘Shenzhou trash’. What, has he suddenly had a miraculous change of heart?”

Although Rovel wasn’t usually one to hold grudges, he remembered that kind of intensely derogatory insult perfectly well.

“I don’t know his exact motives,” Yuki replied, tapping her chin thoughtfully. “But regarding the previous incident with Funahiki Gyō, he actually led the Funahiki Family in a highly publicized apology. He openly admitted fault on behalf of his clan and even provided substantial compensation to every single victim.”

“Plus, since Funahiki Shin previously joined the Shenzhou faction to help defend against foreign enemies, a lot of people here have actually developed a rather favorable impression of him.”

“, that data we saw was experimental data from the Far East military, which Funahiki Shin managed to obtain through his own clandestine channels. And…” Yuki’s voice dropped to a hushed, serious tone. “Just like the rumors suggested, the Far East is indeed secretly creating the rumored Death Soldier Legion.”

“He probably discovered this horrifying truth, which is why he’s so desperate to evacuate his family to Shenzhou. He’s been occasionally testing the waters with the Zhou Family, seemingly intending to form an alliance with us,” Yuki explained, her eyes reflecting the political gravity of the situation.

Rovel waved a hand dismissively. “Forget about him for now. What’s the second type of method you mentioned?”

“The second type is, naturally, Titles!” Yuki beamed, her gloomy expression vanishing in an instant. “However, only titles of Top-grade or higher can actually increase your real-world synchronization progress.”

“Top-grade titles can increase it by one percent, Epic-grade by five percent, and for Legendary-grade… well, the current community guess is ten percent. After all, besides you, Brother, absolutely no one else has managed to obtain a Legendary-grade title, right? Mr. Anonymous Player.”

Yuki giggled, reaching out to lightly poke Rovel’s cheek with her index finger.

According to Yuki’s explanation, Rovel’s current synchronization progress was already ridiculously high. Combined with the sheer power of his various Authorities, he possessed the terrifying, overwhelming strength of a one-man army.

“Then my initial estimate wasn’t wrong.” A confident smile played at the corner of Rovel’s mouth. “I really do have the power to take you away from the Zhou Family.”

He shifted his gaze, looking deeply into Yuki’s eyes. “Yuki, do you want to leave that place?”

The current Yuki was exceptionally outstanding in her own right. At the very least, for the short term, the Zhou Family wouldn’t dare use her as a mere political bargaining chip.

“Hmm…” Yuki hummed, a mischievous glint flashing in her eyes. “I want to make our exit even grander! Father seems particularly keen on setting me up in an arranged marriage with Zhang Changgong from the Zhang Family.”

“How about you come and crash the wedding, Brother!” Yuki clapped her hands together, her face flushed with absolute anticipation. “That way, not only will the Zhou Family lose all their face in front of the elites, but you can also announce my departure in the most high-profile, dramatic way possible!”

Rovel stared at her, deadpan. “Do I look like some kind of villainous male lead to you? You’ve been reading way too many trashy web novels, haven’t you?”

“Besides, if I dramatically crash your wedding and steal the bride, wouldn’t it just look like I’m the one marrying you? Do you want your own brother to be roasted on a cross by the public?” Rovel sighed, reaching out to lightly flick her forehead.

“Ow!” Yuki rubbed her forehead, sticking out her tongue mischievously. “I thought you wouldn’t care about trivial things like public opinion, Brother… And anyway, Yuki just wants to marry you, so what!”

“Even if I didn’t manage to snatch Brother’s first time,” she declared, clenching her fists as a fierce fighting spirit ignited in her eyes, “I must at least snatch the position of Brother’s first bride!”

“Uh…” Rovel made a strained, meaningless sound, his eyes awkwardly darting to the side.

Looking at his guilty expression and shifting gaze, Yuki understood everything in an instant. The color drained from her face.

“Are you kidding me?!” she shrieked, her voice cracking. “That damn vixen actually snatched the position of Brother’s first bride too?!”

Yuki burst into dramatic tears, throwing herself onto the bed and kicking her legs in a full-blown tantrum.

“Then… then at least give me the position of your first bride in reality!!!” Yuki wailed, instantly lowering her requirements once again as she buried her face in the pillows.

In short, she just desperately wanted to be with Rovel; all these grand declarations were just flimsy excuses to stay by his side.

“Yuki, although I know the 2D otaku world has had a massive influence on your common sense, we are siblings after all…” Rovel sighed softly, gently patting her back.

“We’re not blood-related!” Yuki suddenly sat up. She seemed entirely prepared for this exact argument, reaching into her bag and aggressively shoving a manila file folder into Rovel’s hands.

“Last time, when I discovered that vixen’s existence, I felt like my biological ‘Brother Radar’ had completely gone offline. So, I specifically went to the hospital to test our blood relation.”

“And guess what? It’s gone now! The biggest biological obstacle between us has completely vanished!” Yuki made energetic peace signs with both hands, flashing him an exceptionally bright, triumphant smile.

Rovel opened the folder and scanned the medical documents inside. The official stamps and genetic markers were all there. He didn’t think Yuki would go so far as to forge a medical document just to lie to him.

After all, Yuki was the kind of shameless girl who could loudly proclaim to the world that ‘a real blood-related sister is the best’. If she was showing him this, it had to be the truth.

“Brother must have become something like a MANTIS, right?” Yuki leaned in close, her eyes sparkling with curiosity. “I asked Teacher Raven about it. She said that normally, only that kind of extreme Honkai surgery could change a person’s genetic makeup so thoroughly.”

“So… Onii-chan, you have absolutely no more excuses left!” Yuki purred, her tone turning dangerously sweet. “Don’t resist anymore. Just give in to Yuki!”

She lunged forward, interlacing her slender fingers with Rovel’s. Standing up on the mattress, she adopted a dominant, looming posture, fully prepared to force herself on him right then and there.

A second later, she was effortlessly pushed back down onto the mattress by Rovel with a single hand.

“Yuki, although we technically aren’t blood-related anymore, you seem to have forgotten the single most important thing,” Rovel said, his voice calm and steady. “My love for you hasn’t changed its nature!”

He cruelly exposed the harsh truth. In his eyes, his sister was still his sister. All his affection and protective instincts were purely familial love; it had never once crossed the line into romance.

“Wh… What?!!” Yuki gasped, her eyes widening in sheer horror. She looked as if she had been struck by lightning, her body going completely limp as she slumped against the pillows.

“So, until you somehow manage to successfully change my mind, you are still just my dear, precious sister.” Rovel reached out, gently rubbing her head to comfort her shattered ego.

Hearing this, Yuki lowered her head, her bangs shadowing her eyes. She slowly stood back up on the bed, her fists trembling before she suddenly threw her head back and roared loudly, “I don’t care! No matter what, let’s just cook the rice and make it a done deal first!!!”

“Listen to me, you brat!” Rovel barked, chopping the side of his hand lightly against her head. “Is your brain filled with absolutely nothing but this perverted trash every single day?!”
