Pregnant by the Prince of Lust(BL)

Chapter 155: Marry Me or Watch Them Burn

Pazuzu’s POV

Pazuzu’s suppressed demon powers surged back into his veins in a violent wave.

Just as Luceriel raised his hand to blast him with a blinding sphere of holy light, Pazuzu moved like a shadow. He lunged forward, caught Luceriel’s wrist mid-spell, jerked him down into his lap, and locked his arms around the prince’s waist to hold him in place.

"Let go of me!" Luceriel thrashed fiercely, but Pazuzu pressed a single, dark magic-laced finger directly against Luceriel’s forehead.

Instantly, Luceriel’s entire body went rigid, his muscles refusing to respond, locked completely still.

"Wha... what the hell did you do to me?" Luceriel choked out, his eyes wide.

Pazuzu scoffed lightly. "I made you lose to me, darling. That’s what I did. Now you’re going to sit still and listen to me. I let your little game play out earlier only because you’re my fated mate, but your vines are useless against me. You simply aren’t powerful enough to beat me in raw force. So listen carefully to my proposal." He reached up gently, brushing a stray lock of dark hair from Luceriel’s forehead, staring deep into those striking green eyes.

Luceriel tried with every ounce of his willpower to move a muscle, but he remained paralyzed under the crushing weight of Pazuzu’s demonic aura. "What the hell are you doing? Release me!"

"You said you were curious why your visions vanished, didn’t you?" Pazuzu murmured, leaning down close. "You stopped seeing the future because your mind was busy processing my awakening. We are fated mates, Luceriel."

"I refuse to accept that!" Luceriel snapped through paralyzed breath. "There is no universe where I’m fated to a sadistic monster like you! I will—"

Pazuzu cut him off, pressing his finger harder against Luceriel’s forehead and unleashing a surge of consciousness magic that projected a vision straight into the prince’s mind. "See for yourself what becomes of your realm if you refuse me."

Luceriel let out a low, agonized groan as his head was forced back.

Suddenly, the grand pavilion melted away. Luceriel’s consciousness was dragged violently into Pazuzu’s Mindscape, a terrifying, endless sea of glowing purple flames and swirling dark energy. Ethereal, floating fragments of the future drifted through the void.

Luceriel watched in horror as fires consumed the mortal and divine realms alike. Structure after structure crumbled to dust, the sky torn open in bleeding red fissures.

And at the center of the carnage lay his brothers, the Sin Princes, motionless, eyes closed, bodies broken amid the burning ruins of the world.

With a sudden snap, the vision shattered.

The Mindscape vanished, and Luceriel’s sight snapped back to his pavilion as Pazuzu pulled his finger away.

"Did you see it?" Pazuzu whispered darkly. "That destruction will be the reality for you and your brothers the moment my father fully awakens from his slumber."

Luceriel stared at Pazuzu, his breathing heavy.

For a brief second, Pazuzu thought the weight of the apocalypse had humbled the proud prince, until Luceriel’s lips curled into a disdainful sneer. "There is no way in hell I would ever believe a word from a demon. You could easily have fabricated that illusion to manipulate me."

Pazuzu threw his head back and laughed. "Ah, you caught me. Demons really do suffer from a terrible reputation, don’t we? But I don’t care whether you trust my character. You need to worry about the reality of what I just showed you. If you don’t cooperate, you and your brothers will perish. The entire realm will cease to exist, because when my father wakes, his power will consume everything. Elysium managed to seal him away long ago, and even though I went out of my way to seal Elysium in turn..."

"You locked down Elysium?" Luceriel interrupted, a sudden gleam of intense interest flashing in his eyes.

Pazuzu shifted slightly, watching the change in Luceriel’s demeanor with pure fascination. It was the first genuine sign of intrigue he’d gotten from the prince, proof that Luceriel harbored his own deep-seated hatred for the divine realm.

At least we share a common enemy,Pazuzu thought, amused.

"Indeed," Pazuzu confirmed smoothly. "I placed all the high deities into an eternal slumber, because their foolish interference would only hasten the destruction once my father breaks free."

"Is that why you woke up? To wage war against your own Father?" Luceriel demanded. "Why would a demon prince betray his own father?"

Pazuzu shook his head. "I’m not betraying him. I’m simply eliminating a massive threat to my own interests. What good is power if there’s no world left to rule? I have zero desire to govern an empty wasteland of corpses. I want a realm of the living. Which brings us back to my proposal: if you marry me, our combined strength will guarantee our victory. Furthermore, I will spare Azriel’s human mate. I’ll simply take the unborn child’s extra power for our cause instead of killing him."

Luceriel gasped softly, a harsh realization dawning on him. "It was you. You were the one who lifted the Mirevale Curse from Azriel."

Pazuzu grinned wickedly. "Guilty."

"I should have known. It happened far too conveniently," Luceriel muttered. "And you did something to Azriel’s mind too, didn’t you? He would have warned me otherwise."

"I wiped his memories of our encounter clean," Pazuzu admitted freely. "He has no recollection of me whatsoever. If your brother had bothered to cultivate his demon lineage a bit more, he might have seen through my magic. And that’s precisely where you come in. I need you to convince Azriel to embrace his demon blood. You’ll gather your brothers and announce the impending war with the Demon King. Prepare your kingdoms for battle because the demon king is the greatest threat ever. After I leave today, your visions will return in full, but you will keep my identity as Pazuzu a secret. That reveal is mine to make."

Luceriel clenched his jaw so hard Pazuzu genuinely thought the bone might snap under the strain.

"Go easy on your jaw, darling..."

" Don’t call me that,’’ Luceriel warned through gritted teeth. ’’You honestly expect me to trust a demon’s word after all of this?"he roared, the sheer pride in his voice vibrating through the room. "This entire scenario could be an elaborate scheme orchestrated by you and your father!"

Pazuzu laughed delightedly.

"Your laughter irritates me to no end!"

"Then you’d better get used to it," Pazuzu purred, leaning in until his lips brushed the shell of Luceriel’s ear. "Because from this day forth, it’s the sound that will fill your nights once we are married.’’

"I will never marry you!" Luceriel spat back, his refusal instant. "I would rather die than bind myself to a demon!"

Pazuzu leaned down, breathing in the irresistible scent of mint from the prince’s skin. "You smell so incredible... it’s driving me wild," he whispered, pressing a sharp, lingering kiss against the side of Luceriel’s neck. "I can hardly wait to sink my fangs into this soft skin and leave a permanent claim for the entire realm to see."

Luceriel fell completely silent.

Across the room, mounted inside an ornate dragon-carved display case, a legendary silver sword began to rattle violently. With a sharp, metallic ring, the blade unsheathed itself, flying through the air like a streak of lightning straight toward Pazuzu’s head.

Pazuzu leaned back just in time as the blade sliced clean through a few stray strands of his dark purple hair.

"I may be paralyzed, but my mind and spatial command still function perfectly," Luceriel declared coldly.

The moment the sword’s hilt slapped into Luceriel’s palm, the holy magic built into the weapon shattered Pazuzu’s paralysis spell. Freed in an instant, Luceriel leaped to his feet and executed a lethal horizontal slash aimed straight for Pazuzu’s throat.

Pazuzu vanished into thin air a split second before the blade could connect.

Reappearing near the doorway, Pazuzu watched the deadly grace of Luceriel’s counterattack.

A dark, deeply satisfied smile touched his lips. His fated mate was far from a delicate prize. He was a lethal, magnificent force of nature, perfectly suited to rule by his side.

"Where the hell are you hiding?" Luceriel demanded, sweeping his glowing blade through the empty air, his pride flaring violently.

"You never cease to amaze me, Luceriel," Pazuzu’s deep, velvety voice echoed softly, sounding directly against the back of Luceriel’s ear despite his physical distance. "Remember my proposal well. Refuse me, and I will personally end that human and claim the prophecy child’s power for myself. Your answer decides the survival of your precious family. Choose wisely, my darling."

Luceriel whipped around, swinging his sword with full force toward the sound, but the space behind him was empty.

By the time he looked toward the entrance, Pazuzu had seamlessly reassumed his disguise as Master Paziel.

Flashing Luceriel one final, wickedly sharp smirk, the demon prince pushed open the massive doors and casually strolled out into the grand hallway, leaving the Prince of Pride standing alone in his disrupted Pavillion.
