Pregnant by the Prince of Lust(BL)

Chapter 108: The Infiltration Strategy

Eiren’s POV

"You are here again. I have been waiting for you," Caelum said, a bright, welcoming smile gracing his features. He stepped forward, the blinding radiance of his celestial wings unfurling behind him in the dim space.

However, his cheerful expression quickly dissolved into a sharp frown as his gaze shifted to the figure standing right beside Eiren.

"And you brought a friend?" Caelum asked, his tone dropping into a cool, guarded tone.

Eiren glanced nervously toward Kaevian, who held his ornate golden fan up to cover the lower half of his face. Kaevian slowly lowered the fan with practiced grace, bowing his head in mock reverence. "My name is Kaevian. You must be Caelum."

Caelum scrutinized Kaevian for a long, silent moment before snapping his eyes back to Eiren. "You told him everything?"

Eiren gave a hesitant, uncomfortable nod.

"That was not the agreement, human," Caelum said, his golden eyes narrowing. "You were meant to be the sole proxy handling the divine plans of the deities."

Eiren opened his mouth to defend his decision, but Kaevian cut in before he could utter a word.

"Seeing as your grand design ended in an absolute disaster, I suggest you lower your tone," Kaevian said smoothly. "If I hadn’t intervened after your failed curse backfired, Eiren would already be buried beneath the Hall of Justice. He wouldn’t even be standing before you tonight if not for my quick thinking."

Eiren quickly nudged Kaevian hard in the ribs with his elbow, but Kaevian merely shrugged off the warning.

"I speak only facts," Kaevian added with a dry smirk. "You almost faced execution, Eiren. I saved your life."

Caelum let out a sharp scoff, though he didn’t verbally counter. Instead, he locked his gaze onto Kaevian, his eyes scanning him with a deep, unsettling intensity. "I can feel the hatred you harbor for the human omega deep within your soul," Caelum observed softly. "However... yours is steeped in a strange, corrupted shade. There is a deep, festering darkness living inside of you."

"Is that meant to be an insult?" Kaevian replied, raising an eyebrow with an amused tilt of his head. "Doesn’t everyone carry a little darkness within them when they’re striving for ultimate power? Isn’t that the entire point of ambition?"

"I am not here to judge your morals," Caelum murmured, "so long as your dark desires serve the greater purpose of Elysium."

"Then answer me this—why did your initial plot fail so pathetically?" Kaevian countered, refusing to back down.

Before Caelum could respond, two brilliant shafts of celestial light tore through the shadows of the room.

From the radiance walked two tall figures with imposing, majestic builds. One carried the exact same face as Caelum—clearly his twin brother—while the second man possessed an entirely different, suffocating aura altogether.

He bore the exquisite, unearthly visage of a true god.

A delicate silver mask covered the lower half of his face, and his long, dark hair was crowned by a glowing circlet woven from starlight. His flowing robes were embroidered with cosmic symbols and constellations that flickered with living light.

"Meet my twin brother, Jalem—the First assassin of Elysium," Caelum announced, stepping aside and bowing deeply. "And His Grace, the direct descendant of the God of Fate and the Goddess of Life and Death... Lord Zephyrus."

Eiren slowly lifted his eyes to meet Zephyrus’s striking, void-like gaze.

A violent shiver tore down his spine, so intense that his instincts forced him to cast his eyes down toward the stone floor immediately.

"This is the mortal you partnered with, Caelum?" Zephyrus demanded, his voice echoing like thunder across a quiet sky as he approached Eiren.

"Yes, Your Grace," Caelum answered reverently.

The moment the words left Caelum’s lips, a crushing, terrifying wave of divine pressure erupted into the room. The sheer weight of the aura was so immense that it slammed both Eiren and Kaevian instantly to their knees, cracking the floorboards beneath them.

Eiren gasped for air, his heart slamming wildly against his ribs as if it were about to burst straight out of his chest.

"Your pathetic failure resulted in the death of my mother," Zephyrus spoke, his voice dripping with terrifying authority.

With every step he took toward them, the atmospheric pressure intensified, tearing agonized screams of pure torment from both Eiren and Kaevian. "I should slice your throats, end your miserable existences, and force you to endure a thousand deaths in the underworld... but I shall grant you mercy. Caelum still believes you possess enough utility to serve our final objective."

Zephyrus snapped his slender fingers.

Instantly, the suffocating weight dissolved. Eiren and Kaevian collapsed onto the ground, gasping for breath and trembling from the residual agony. Yet before Eiren could even push himself up from the stone, Kaevian was already back on his feet. He bowed his head low, hiding his lingering tremors behind a smooth facade.

"I am in utter awe of your magnificent divinity, Lord Zephyrus," Kaevian said, his voice dripping with sweet reverence. "I pledge my talents entirely to your grand service."

Zephyrus turned his cold, penetrating gaze onto Kaevian, studying him in silence for a long, heavy moment before letting out a soft sigh. "The blackness lingering within your heart is far deeper than I anticipated... and it will ultimately spell your doom."

Kaevian let out a light, melodious laugh, falling down onto one knee with an elegant flourish. "I am often told as much, Your Grace. But as I say, does not every ambitious soul carry a shadow within?"

"I admire your spirit," Zephyrus murmured, a faint smirk touching the edge of his mask. He pointed a long, pale finger toward Eiren. "In fact, I believe you will prove far more useful to our cause than this whimpering fool."

Eiren, who was slowly dragging himself up from the floor to kneel properly, lowered his head even further, his jaw tightening in quiet panic. He had always known Kaevian was a cunning snake, but he hadn’t anticipated him being this ruthless.

Was Kaevian actively trying to charm these celestial beings just to cast Eiren aside and take all the glory for himself? Was that his true motive all along?

"The initial strike failed, and the human omega still breathes," Caelum spoke up, bringing Eiren’s racing thoughts to a halt. "He remains alive when he ought to be cold in the ground. Which is precisely why we must infiltrate the grand Wedding the Prince of Lust is hosting in two days’ time."

Eiren’s eyes snapped up in disbelief. "Infiltrate the coronation and wedding? You intend to launch an outright attack on Katula?"

Zephyrus glided forward, reaching out with cold, pale fingers to clamp tightly onto Eiren’s chin, forcing his face up. He stared into Eiren’s tear-stained eyes and let out a faint, knowing sigh.

"Why do you hesitate?" Zephyrus asked softly. "Ah... I see. There is still a faint flicker of pure, uncorrupted devotion lingering within you. It stems from your foolish love for Azriel. But you must understand—a Sin is an absolute abomination. They are fundamentally incapable of experiencing true love. Yet, if that is the singular desire driving your pathetic soul... I shall grant it to you."

Eiren’s eyes widened in sheer astonishment, his breath catching in his throat. "You... you can make Azriel desire me again?"

"Once the human omega is dead, I shall provide you with an ancient, formidable love potion," Zephyrus promised, his voice smooth and hypnotic. "A elixir potent enough to bind even the heart of a Great Sin. He will belong entirely to you for eternity."

A brilliant, ecstatic smile broke across Eiren’s face. All his doubts evaporated in an instant, replaced by a surge of desperate joy. He nodded eagerly, his heart soaring at the promise.

"Tell me, Your Grace," Eiren pleaded excitedly. "What must I do to secure your entry into the palace for the ceremony?"

A wicked smile curved Zephyrus’s lips beneath his starry mask as he leaned down, his voice dropping into a dangerous, low whisper.

He slowly laid out every detail of the plot, outlining the steps they needed to take to smuggle the celestial assassins straight through the palace wards.

As the dark plan spilled from Zephyrus’s lips, Eiren’s heart hammered against his ribs. Beside him, Kaevian snapped his golden fan shut with a sharp, echoing clack.

The two concubines turned to exchange a silent, heavy look in the dim light.

Eiren felt a rush of nervous adrenaline—the scheme was wild, highly dangerous, and completely unhinged, but it was so terrifyingly clever that it just might work.

Kaevian offered a slow, wicked smirk back, his dark eyes gleaming with pure malice and greed.

Together, they turned back to Zephyrus and gave a firm, unison nod.

"We understand," Eiren whispered, a desperate, greedy smile breaking across his face. "Everything will be ready."
