I Have a God Simulator

Chapter 238 - 230: Cloud Guest

During this hour, Luh Yao turned his attention to the Banquet Bird’s mining progress.

King Wuzi was a novice when it came to governing cities and expanding civilization, but when it came to underground mining and excavation, he was right at home.

No one understood the underground better than the Wuzi People.

The Wuzi mining team created a series of earth arches at the bottom of the world. Earth Traveling Boats drilled into the ground through these archways, digging tunnels through the abandoned Gravel World in search of ore veins.

They coordinated seamlessly. One after another, Earth Traveling Boats drilled into the ground, while others returned from the arches, spitting out piles of dissolved and purified All-Purpose Stone. On the surface, the Wuzi People stacked these sparkling strategic minerals in batches, simultaneously tallying the count and adjusting the direction of the underground operations.

King Wuzi was the commander-in-chief and chief designer for this major development in the Gravel World. Relying on his Divine Power, he could determine the general location of All-Purpose Stone with considerable accuracy, after which he would dispatch Wuzi People squads to the site to begin excavation.

Unlike their confusion and disarray during wartime, the Wuzi People carrying out the excavation were swift and efficient. Every step was practiced and orderly, as if they were a humanoid assembly line.

It was clear their talents were all specced into underground work.

In less than half an hour, a large pile of All-Purpose Stone had already accumulated on the surface.

Luh Yao clicked his mouse and collected it all.

The top-left corner displayed: All-Purpose Stone 1761.

They had already mined 1,300 pieces in such a short time.

But as the excavation went deeper, the output clearly diminished, and the speed slowed down.

Luh Yao didn’t mind.

The Gravel World was small on a cosmic scale, but its size was comparable to almost half of the Wuzi Kingdom. Even if the All-Purpose Stone concentration was low, the total amount would still be substantial.

He had to consider the issue of distribution.

The All-Purpose Stone wasn’t very useful for him personally; it was just for emergencies.

In the Yao Race World, however, the Artisans were in dire need of this special material. With All-Purpose Stone, they would have a much higher chance of creating Fine Level Artifacts.

Luh Yao thought for a moment and came up with an idea.

He told King Wuzi that the All-Purpose Stone in this Gravel World would be exclusively mined by the Wuzi race. All the acquired All-Purpose Stone would go into Uda City’s treasury, and they could use it for their own Forging or for Trade with other cities.

Luh Yao had only one condition.

These resources had to be put to use, becoming fuel for Uda City’s development.

"Lord True God, with such great favor, I will do my utmost to handle this matter well and make good use of these resources! I will absolutely not let you down!"

An excited emoji with sparkling eyes appeared above King Wuzi’s head.

He immediately announced Yao God’s decision, which thrilled the Wuzi People. Smiley faces rose above their heads one after another, and they started Mining with even more vigor.

Luh Yao thought, ’With this Gravel World’s All-Purpose Stone Mine, Uda City can be considered a tycoon town, one way or another.’

’Even if the Wuzi People do nothing but take the All-Purpose Stone and go on a shopping spree in the world’s various cities, it would still stimulate the local economies and indirectly bolster the manufacturing sector.’

Meanwhile, Crystal City was also making progress. The once chaotic former capital of the Empire was restoring Order thanks to the arrival of the White God.

The Slaughter Flying Locusts within the city were all eliminated, collapsed houses were rebuilt, damaged roads were repaired, and the imperial capital was undergoing a Rebirth.

The White God brought a group of new immigrants. They came from Yao City, Yan City, Saniluo, and even the Strait Pier in the north. They were mostly from the poorer segments of their local populations, mainly farmers and fishermen, with a few Artisans among them.

After arriving in Crystal City, these people were assigned a single task by the White God: making glass.

The city’s wonder, the [Glass Stone Kiln], came with its own glassmaking technology. It also provided a luck bonus to Artisans and increased the success rate of glass production.

Although Yan City had now mastered glassmaking techniques, its output was very low precisely because the Bo Race’s glass production was extremely dependent on this one wonder.

From another perspective, glass products were currently very expensive, yielding considerable profits.

The White God had the Believers produce glass goods and then used merchant caravans to sell them to the numerous cities in the south in exchange for grain, cotton, hemp, and various raw materials.

The glass industry gradually became Crystal City’s core start-up industry, allowing the first wave of Believers to get rich quickly. More people flocked in from all over, hoping to get a piece of the pie from the glass trade.

In addition, the White God began planting roses both inside and outside the city Walls.

These rose seeds were all cultivated by Pinkman in the experimental zone. Although they couldn’t compare to the superior quality from the era of the Rose Kingdom, they were already showing promise.

With watering and fertilizing from the people, the roses grew rapidly, becoming as tall as trees.

The roses that grew in Crystal City were all Green Roses. The White God said that Pinkman had specially chosen this variety, considering Crystal City’s remote location and the numerous locust swarms that would harass and disrupt Trade.

Luh Yao clicked on one of them.

...

...

Pinkman really had a knack for raising roses.

The Green Rose had become a plant with defensive capabilities, able to maintain the city’s safety.

As soon as the White God took charge of Crystal City, it didn’t take long to make the place lively and vibrant, and many Ghosts from the Empire also integrated into the city.

Luh Yao was about to check on the Ghosts’ current situation when a notification popped up in the simulator.

[Anchoring of Silvanus Tree to Yunzhong Temple complete.]

That would have to wait.

Luh Yao opened the Golden Field and began to examine the History of Yunzhong Temple.

This Vortex World was even more damaged than the Yao Race World. In [Rule Repair] mode, the world’s lines between reality and illusion were shattered. It was like a book that had been soaked in water and then torn to shreds—entries were severely missing, making it extremely difficult to read.

Yunzhong Temple was once a Divine Kingdom. From the time it was stripped from a Fragment World, 4,215 Eras had passed, but the records for each Era were almost completely destroyed.

Even the entry for Era was displayed as [INACTIVE], indicating that the world’s Era Updates had completely stopped—like a server that had been shut down.

But regardless of whether the entries were complete or fragmented, they all revolved around the God here: [Cloud Guest].

The name Yunzhong Temple was chosen by the Cloud Guest.

This God, despite being one of the Gods, was rather peculiar. He was always busy, constantly perfecting and repairing the broken rules and every blade of grass and tree in the Divine Kingdom.

Not a single Divine War had ever broken out in the vast Yunzhong Temple, something Luh Yao found incredible.

Unfortunately, the background logs didn’t explain why.

But among the world’s rules, there was a special entry.

[Ascension]

Under Ascension, there were two sub-entries: [Cloud Monk] and [Sand Walker].

The entry for [Sand Walker] was completely deleted or had disappeared, but the description for [Cloud Monk] was relatively complete.

...

[Cloud Monk] — [Ascension] — [Yunzhong Temple]

[Introduction]: After completing the initial transformation, one transforms their body into a cloud, merging with the world of Yunzhong Temple to become a part of its rules, thereby completing Ascension and generating a large amount of Fire of Faith.

[Development History]: A special path created by the Cloud Guest that allows Extraordinary Beings among his Believers to break through their limits and attempt to enter the Divine Domain without the aid of a Divine Format.

...

Luh Yao summarized the fragmented content under the entry.

The Cloud Monk path allowed an Extraordinary Being to merge with the meteorological phenomenon of [Cloud], becoming part of the world’s rules and thus transcending. As more and more Cloud Monks transformed into clouds, they would strengthen this rule, which in turn would nourish the operation of the entire world.

This was already very close to Divine Power.

But later events proved that the Cloud Guest’s method had failed.

The Cloud Monks all completely merged into the rules, becoming a part of them, or rather, they became the clouds of this world.

It was also because of the unprecedented strengthening of [Cloud] that the entire world became perpetually shrouded in a dense, lingering fog. For a time, it was perennially damp and cold, and Fog Element creatures proliferated, turning the whole land into a marsh.

So, the Cloud Guest had no choice but to further repair the world’s rules. In the process, He pioneered another Ascension Path.

Sand Walker.

Unfortunately, in the background rules, the entry for [Sand Walker] was completely blank.

After reading all this, Luh Yao began to organize a team to conduct a preliminary field survey of Yunzhong Temple.

The participants in this operation were: the White God, Isabel, Selena, the Blood Knight, and the Snowman.

The Apostle Squad completed its Gathering and entered the ancient Vortex World through a passage opened by Luh Yao.
