After meeting the standard, they would serve in Yan City for one to three years. Then, they would enter Yao City’s Puji Divinity College for one to two years of further study, pass an assessment of fundamental knowledge, and finally serve a tour of duty in Saniluo for another one to three years.

While stationed in Saniluo, the recruits would directly confront the various incidents and dangers posed by the community of Extraordinary Beings.

After completing this entire process and passing every stage, the recruit would be recognized by the three cities as an [Armored Warrior].

An Armored Warrior could choose to serve any of the three cities.

Once they began formal service in a city, the Armored Warrior would fall under the jurisdiction of the City Guard Army, acting as its elite force.

When on a mission, Armored Warriors wore a full set of Twin Cities Armor and wielded weapons coated in Magic Potions. They were a powerful deterrent, whether facing ordinary people or Extraordinary Beings.

If the Martial Cultivator path was about pursuing the upper limits and breakthroughs of exceptional individuals, then the Armored Warrior path was focused on raising the baseline capability and forming a stable, large-scale force.

The former demanded immense individual talent, while the latter depended on the era’s level of extraordinary technology and craftsmanship.

In Yan City to the west, Armored Warriors were on a mission.

Their opponent was a LV12 Fire Wild Ox. Three Armored Warriors withstood the ox’s charge and fiery breath head-on, while two more behind them drew their bows. The potion-tipped arrows made the wild ox collapse instantly.

Finally, they bound the Fire Wild Ox’s legs and neck with iron chains, completely subduing it.

An angry emoji with popping veins appeared over the head of one of the Armored Warriors.

"This beast ate our grain and didn’t pay! And it attacked an Armored Warrior!"

The emergence of the Armored Warriors further stabilized order in the cities and offered another path for what an Extraordinary Being could be.

Just then, an unusual prompt appeared on the simulator.

’King Wuzi?’

Luh Yao clicked on the Divine Hall and saw that a dialogue box had appeared on King Wuzi’s Divine Statue.

The view jumped to Uda City in the Wuzi Kingdom.

It was a kingdom in name only, having no houses, farmland, or workshops in the conventional sense. It was more like a bizarre city formed from a mountain range. Most of these mountains were actually earth-arches modified by the Wuzi People, serving as tunnels to the world below and as entry and exit points for their Earth Traveling Boats.

A Divine Hall had been built in the center of Uda City. Aside from being grayish-brown, it was identical to the one in Yao City.

At that moment, a chaotic scribble, representing his tangled thoughts, appeared above the head of the mountain-like King Wuzi, who carried the Divine Hall on his crown.

Sensing the True God’s gaze, he immediately said, "Lord True God, I am slow-witted and have many questions."

Luh Yao prompted him to speak.

"The Wuzi Race has always lived underground. Aside from excavating new spaces and building or repairing Earth Traveling Boats, they are naturally inert due to their physical traits. Under normal circumstances, they dislike moving or relocating."

"After integrating with the Yao Race, many Wuzi People left Uda City. They’ve gone to Yao City, Yan City, Saniluo, and even as far as the Dragon Nest in the north and the Elf Village in the south."

"I have thought about this for a long time and even consulted the White God. It said it is because of hope. The Wuzi People saw how the Yao Race developed and grew, how Heroes and Prophets emerged, and how they even broke through their own limits... They’ve come to realize that they possess the same potential and opportunities."

"That is why they are flocking to Yao City and Yan City, eager to change their stagnant past."

"I believe that Uda City needs to change as well."

King Wuzi continued his explanation.

"The Wuzi Race has a profound understanding of the underground, so I wish to transform Uda City into a city focused on mining."

"I have a plan. In the future, I will expand the production of Earth Traveling Boats, allowing the Wuzi Race to survey for mineral deposits everywhere. We will focus primarily on the resources in highest demand: metal ores, building stone, and coal. Then, using Uda City’s expertise in dissolution and refinement, we can transport the finished metals, stone, and coal to the other cities for trade."

"This will allow Uda City to play to its strengths."

Luh Yao was very much in favor of this.

In fact, he had always wanted to link Uda City and Crystal City, turning them into a second Twin Cities metropolitan area.

There was no time like the present.

Luh Yao summoned the White God and announced his next grand strategy to his two Subordinate Gods. In the near future, Uda City and Crystal City would become the hub and core of the north. These two cities were to be developed into a metropolitan area of twin cities, comparable to Yao City and Yan City, in order to carry out the important work of spreading the Faith, developing the civilization, and increasing the population.

Uda City would continue to be led by King Wuzi, specializing in subterranean projects such as prospecting, excavation, and locating mineral resources.

Crystal City, in turn, would be managed and developed by the White God. It would leverage its large Ghost population, keep the Slaughter Flying Locusts in check, and handle the task of training Cultivators.

The specific development of each city would be planned and arranged by the two Subordinate Gods based on the actual circumstances.

Luh Yao provided tangible support, allocating 20,000 Faith to each of his two Subordinate Gods.

He made a promise.

—At the start of the next Era, whichever city has made more civilizational progress will receive greater support from the Fire of Faith.
