Luh Yao's inspiration came from the Black Water Mite invasion.

The Whistleblower strategy itself was sound: using a specific species with superior reproductive capabilities to deal a devastating blow to an entire world's ecosystem.

It was just that Luh Yao's development had been too advanced, causing the Black Water Mites to become a new economic species shortly after their debut.

This time, Luh Yao selected locusts, aiming them straight at the rear grain-producing regions of the Fifth Fearless Empire.

He first introduced the locusts into an experimental zone.

A relatively mature and stable ecosystem had already formed there. Predators included the White Mountain Sparrow and the Mad Flame Bird; on the ground were Fighting Shovel Armor and Monster Strength Grass. Two types of Papilionidae acted as ambassadors for plant propagation, while the trees were the domain of the Pine Slipper Rats.

The General found it strange.

This conical mountain was no different from the surrounding ones. It wasn't particularly large, nor did it have any special adornments or carvings. The only difference was a simple fence crudely piled up with stones.
