Luh Yao’s view was locked onto the top of the snowman’s head.

He didn’t know if hatching an egg induced some kind of stiffness. In any case, Jimmy remained completely motionless, so quiet that Luh Yao almost didn’t recognize him.

In the Dragon Egg’s interface, the [Hatching Brand] was also slowly progressing.

Luh Yao suspected that by the time the Dark Sun snuck out again, the egg might still just be an egg.

The Dark Sun didn’t drop any loot, and if he destroyed one, another would just appear.

Luh Yao was a bit surprised.

’A divine festival?’

He thought for a moment.

This series of events had stemmed from his handling of the Dark Sun.

The simulator had described it very clearly as well.

She had mentioned that she had already placed her mirrors in most parts of this world.

By using her [Mirror Country], Selena could instantly arrive at any location where a mirror was placed. This Divine Skill made her practically omnipresent.

Upon receiving the command, Selena stepped into the [Mirror Country] on the Divine Hall wall. The next moment, she appeared at the foot of an Ice Mountain on the Northern New Continent. After a few more short traversals, she arrived at the snowman’s location.

Then she activated Tyrant mode.

Wielding her Bone Sword, Selena dismembered the twenty-some Ice Giant Monsters within view into a field of ice shards in under a minute. The more distant Giant Monsters were so terrified they hid in the snow-capped mountains, not daring to peek out.

"My lord, shall I exterminate all the Ice Giant Monsters?"

It seemed Selena hadn’t had her fill of battle yet.

Luh Yao told her to stop.

The snowman’s hatching of the egg was the priority right now.

And so, a very strange scene unfolded on the game screen.

Tyrant Selena stood leaning on her sword. Behind her, a carrot-nosed snowman was partially covered in snow, looking almost like a handicraft Selena had just finished making.

The Hatching Brand’s progress bar continued to creep forward.

A dialogue box suddenly popped up above Selena’s head.

"My lord, Necied has improved tremendously."

"If you would permit it, I hope to receive a similar opportunity next time to conquer other worlds on Your behalf."

"I will do better than he did and offer You even more Faith and spoils of war."

Luh Yao knew at once what this was about.

She was getting competitive.

Selena had a strong competitive drive. Necied, who was previously a lower level than her, had gone on an expedition to another world and shot straight up to LV83. This had seriously provoked the Female Tyrant.

She was pure in a different sense; she always wanted to be the best at everything. Praise her, and she would be happy.

This was likely a big reason why, in the past, the Forest God had been able to fool her, manipulating her emotions and making her take the fall for him.

Luh Yao typed a reply.

Upon receiving her God’s promise, a smile immediately appeared above Selena’s head.

She knelt on one knee. "Thank you for Your acknowledgment and trust. I will do everything in my power and give my all for Your Fire of Faith!"

Luh Yao took a sip of his cola.

Just then, the snowman, which had been completely still, suddenly began to tremble.

The snowman wobbled to its feet, took off its fluffy hat with its red-gloved hands, and out from its head flew a... Dragon.

It was indeed a Dragon. The text above its head read [Juvenile Dragon].

It was just a bit miniature—even smaller than the snowman’s head.

It was pitch-black and flapped its wings, stumbling unsteadily through the air. But the Juvenile Dragon quickly mastered the art of flying. It began to circle the snowman, showing a clear attachment to Jimmy.

Snowman Jimmy hopped up and down. "Lord God, the Dragon has hatched! Please give it a name. From this day forward, it will fight for Your Fire of Faith!"

He typed a question for Jimmy.

—Jimmy, who is your best friend?

"Lord God, Jimmy has no friends."

"But Jimmy once dreamed he had a friend. It was another snowman named Pasha." As he spoke of this non-existent snowman, a large smiling-face icon popped up above his head.

The name was decided.
