Chapter 78: A Few Words Upon Release

This humble flop is going premium once again.
Unlike before, this book’s performance is much better than my previous few novels. Before even going premium, the active readership has already surpassed ten thousand.
If it were just achieving the standard High-Quality tier, I could just write casually. After all, I’ve written plenty of High-Quality books, so there would be no pressure at all. But when a book does this well, the pressure comes right along with it.
Before I started this book, just like my last one, I didn’t actually do much preparation. The first six thousand characters were written in a single night.
As for the updates that followed...
To be honest, while I was writing two books at once, I didn’t think too far ahead. I would come up with the plot and write it on the same day.
It was only after writing tens of thousands of characters that I finalized the main plot and created a more detailed outline.
After writing for over a month, it’s going premium at one hundred seventy thousand characters, which is well within the normal range.
Let me think about what else to say... I’m just trying to pad out the word count for this announcement.
First, I’d like to thank my editor, Languang. During the book’s trial runs and recommendation features, I was pestering him every day about the active readership stats. I feel like I was getting annoying, but Languang was great and always replied promptly.
Second, let’s establish the rules for bonus Chapters.
For every new Alliance Leader, I will release five bonus Chapters.
When these bonus Chapters are released, I will specially note in the title that they are for an Alliance Leader.
My regular daily updates will be between eight thousand and ten thousand-plus characters. This will be released as three Chapters, with each Chapter being at least three thousand characters long.
Next, let’s talk about first-day subscriptions.
Currently, the active readership is at twelve thousand.
Starting from a baseline of eight thousand first-day subscriptions, I will release one bonus Chapter for every additional one thousand subscriptions. There is no Upper Limit.
The same goes for monthly tickets: one bonus Chapter for every one thousand tickets, with no Upper Limit.
