Global Pioener: Earth Second Change

Blueprint Hunt

Across the world, millions of people watching the Pioneer live broadcasts suddenly turned their attention to Rangga's stream.

The mechanical creature that had charged at the young man now lay motionless on the ground.

For a brief moment, everyone was speechless. Then the comment sections across countless livestream platforms exploded.

"He killed that monster?!"

"It's actually dead?"

"Only two arrows?!"

"How did he do that?"

"Wait... they can be killed?"

The number of viewers on Rangga's broadcast skyrocketed. It wasn't just people from the Garuda Nation anymore.

Viewers from countries all over the world switched to his stream after clips of the battle spread online.

Inside the Presidential Command Center, several officers stared in disbelief.

"He won? Was that the first mechanical monster ever killed?"

One of the analysts immediately began reviewing footage from other Pioneer broadcasts.

"Sir, the vast majority of Pioneers have chosen to avoid mechanical creatures."

"So far, none of them have attempted to fight one."

The screen switched to Deri. The former soldier was cautiously observing a mechanical creature from behind the trees on a swamp island.

After watching it for a while, Deri simply backed away.

"He isn't attacking... He's still gathering information."

Another screen displayed a Pioneer from a different country.

Some fled the moment they saw a mechanical dinosaur. Some turned around immediately. Others simply hid.

No one knew how to deal with those creatures.

That was why Rangga's success in killing a mechanical dinosaur with only two arrows instantly became a worldwide topic of discussion.

No one knew the real reason. It wasn't because Rangga was stronger than everyone else.

It was because he alone possessed the Analysis System, which revealed an enemy's weaknesses.

Back at the military housing complex, Putri had been watching without blinking.

The moment the Mechanical Procolophon charged at Rangga, she instinctively jumped to her feet.

"Mas! Watch out!"

As Rangga turned and ran while the creature chased him, Putri became even more frantic.

"Mas, run! Don't fight it!"

When she saw him stop and raise his bow instead, she immediately began pounding on the monitor.

"Stupid Mas! Don't mess with it! It's dangerous!"

Knock! Knock! Knock!

The female officer guarding the room quickly hurried over.

"Putri....Don't hit the screen... If it breaks, you won't be able to watch Rangga anymore."

Putri instantly stopped. She stared at the screen for a few moments before sitting back down with a pout.

"...Mas is so reckless."

The officer smiled gently.

"He's just doing everything he can."

Putri let out a quiet huff.

"...Yeah."

Her eyes returned to the screen, where Rangga still stood before the fallen mechanical dinosaur, breathing heavily.

Although worry still filled her face, she didn't cry this time. Little by little, she was beginning to accept that, for now, the only way she could stay beside her brother was through that screen.

Rangga remained where he was for several moments, catching his breath.

After confirming that the Mechanical Procolophon truly wasn't moving anymore, he cautiously approached it.

The creature's metallic body suddenly began glowing.

Within seconds, it dissolved into light, leaving behind three objects on the rocky ground.

A silver-colored metal plate. A roll of synthetic fiber. And a thick sheet of paper covered in strange diagrams and intricate lines.

Rangga picked up the paper first and a golden screen immediately appeared.

Composite Alloy Bow Blueprint (1/3)

Rangga frowned.

"What's this?"

Before he could think further, a blue System window appeared.

Composite Alloy Bow Blueprint Incomplete

Collect all blueprint fragments along with the required materials before this item can be crafted using the Crafting Table.

Rangga's eyes widened.

"Wait... So blueprints are used to craft equipment?"

He flipped the page over several times. Unfortunately, the diagrams printed across it made absolutely no sense to him.

"Whatever... I'll deal with it later."

He stored the blueprint inside the boat's inventory, where it dissolved into light.

Boat Inventory: 1 / 100

Next, he picked up the alloy plate and synthetic fiber. Both disappeared after being stored.

Boat Inventory: 3 / 100

Rangga looked toward the rocky area where the Mechanical Procolophon had appeared.

"So... If I want that bow... I'll have to kill more of those lizards?"

He stood there silently, weighing his options. Finally, he nodded.

"Alright then... I'll chop down the trees first. There aren't many on this island."

"After that... I'll go hunting more lizards."

Picking up his stone axe again, Rangga walked toward another Dragon Tree, occasionally glancing toward the surrounding rocks in case another Mechanical Procolophon appeared.

He swung the axe once more.

Thack!

Thack!

Craaack!

One Dragon Tree after another fell, transforming into logs that he immediately stored inside the boat.

Boat Inventory: 8 / 100

...

Boat Inventory: 15 / 100

...

Boat Inventory: 23 / 100

...

Boat Inventory: 34 / 100

Time continued to pass until a now familiar sound echoed once again.

Crack!

The handle of his stone axe snapped clean in half. Rangga simply stared at the broken tool before letting out a long sigh.

"...I seriously need a real axe. At this rate... how am I ever supposed to gather enough wood?"

He tossed the broken axe aside and opened his boat inventory.

Boat Inventory: 34 / 100

Rangga nodded.

"Still plenty of space."

His gaze shifted toward the rocky hills in the center of the island.

"...Maybe... I'll look for the rest of that blueprint first."

He slung the bow over his shoulder, gripped his stone spear in his right hand, and hung the stone pickaxe across his back.

Then, moving carefully, Rangga began making his way through the rocky landscape in search of another Mechanical Procolophon.

It didn't take long before he found one.

The creature was resting atop a large boulder, lazily turning its head from side to side, completely unaware of his presence.

Rangga immediately stopped.

"...Looks like it's sunbathing."

He carefully studied its position. From where he stood, the underside of its neck was completely exposed.

"Perfect."

Slowly, Rangga raised his bow. Drawing the string to its fullest, he steadied his breathing exactly as he had practiced the night before.

"...Don't miss."

Whoosh!

The arrow flew straight toward its target.

Thunk!

It struck the Mechanical Procolophon directly beneath the neck.

SKRRRIIIK!

The creature let out a piercing mechanical screech before losing its balance and tumbling off the boulder.

Moments later, its metallic body glowed and dissolved into light.

"Yes! Direct hit!"

Rangga immediately ran over to where it had fallen. But when the light faded, only two items remained.

One alloy plate. One roll of synthetic fiber. No blueprint. Rangga scratched his head.

"...Wait... The blueprint isn't guaranteed to drop? Oh, come on... How long am I going to be searching for this thing?"

He stored both materials inside the boat.

Boat Inventory: 36 / 100

Rangga lifted his bow once more and slowly scanned the rocky landscape.

"Where's the next one... Come out already."

With cautious steps, he continued searching the rocky island for another Mechanical Procolophon.
