Chapter 148: Appreciating Kurumi +18. Heroes Feast & DnD buffs. Bulma’s Project.
You pull Kurumi against your side, your fingers sliding between her thighs. She gasps as you find her entrance already slick, her body responding instantly to your touch.
"Master, the difference between your gentle care and those darker timelines..." Kurumi's voice catches as your fingers curl inside her. "It almost gives me whiplash. But I can't deny how hot the contrast makes me."
Maria's voice comes from beneath you, slightly breathless as you continue thrusting into her from behind. "I understand the desire, Kurumi-chan. But this Brad is definitely the best."
"Agreed," Kurumi moans softly. "I love how he's keeping us virgin until the right setup. It makes everything so much more-" Her words dissolve into a sharp inhale as your thumb finds her clit.
Your tongue returns to Hinata's pussy, circling her entrance before pushing inside. She whimpers, her hand tightening in your hair. Your free arm wraps around her thigh, holding her steady as you work.
Maria's internal muscles clench around your cock as you angle deeper. "Fuck, Master... right there..."
You increase the pace - fingers pumping into Kurumi, tongue stroking Hinata, hips driving into Maria. The wet sounds of penetration fill the small room. Kurumi's breathing becomes ragged, her heterochromatic eyes glazing.
"Master, I'm-!" Kurumi's climax hits first, her body shuddering against your side. You feel her tighten around your fingers, her cry muffled as she bites her lip.
Hinata follows seconds later. "Goshujin-sama!" Her thighs tremble as she grinds against your mouth, her release flooding across your tongue.
Maria's voice rises. "Master, please-" You grip her hip harder, driving deep as her orgasm crashes through her. Her back arches, breasts pressing forward as she clenches around you.
Your own climax surges through you. Maria gasps as warmth spreads inside her, her body milking every pulse.
You remain buried in Maria for several seconds before slowly standing, bringing her up with you. She rises on unsteady legs, your cock still inside her. You press her between yourself and Hinata, Kurumi tight against your side.
Your hands move to Maria's breasts first, cupping them gently before leaning forward, your mouth closes around her nipple. She exhales shakily. You turn to Hinata next, kissing her breast before sucking softly. Her lavender eyes meet yours with quiet trust.
Kurumi leans in, her tongue tracing Maria's other nipple. The four of you move slowly - hands exploring, mouths tasting, bodies pressed close in the aftermath.
"Hinata," you murmur against her skin. "The timeline Kurumi showed you. Are you alright?"
Her response comes soft but certain. "Yes, Goshujin-sama. It showed me why your restraint protects me."
After enjoying the moment, you step back pulling out of Maria, the passive Cleanliness enchantment already removing any traces from your skin and clothing. Maria turns beside you, pulling on her top and skirt. Hinata smooths down her miniskirt, her lavender eyes still reflecting the emotional weight of Kurumi's timeline demonstration. Kurumi zips you up before stretching languidly, her heterochromatic gaze amused.
"Lunch sounds perfect," Maria says. "I'm actually hungry after all that."
The four of you make your way through the corridors. Midday light filters through the portholes, casting golden streaks across the metal walls. When you reach the galley, you find it already occupied - Rika stands at the coffee maker, while Nami sits at one of the tables with a atlas open before her. Both look up as you enter.
"Nice timing," Rika says, her tone neutral. "Coffee's fresh."
You move to the center of the galley space. "Actually, I want to try something."
You focus on the spell from your Spellbook app - Heroes' Feast, a sixth-level conjuration. The mana cost calculates automatically: six squared times fifteen, plus five. Five hundred forty-five mana. You draw from the network, feeling the power flow through you.
A massive oak table materializes in the center of the galley, laden with an elaborate spread. Roasted meats glisten with herbs, fresh bread steams in baskets, bowls overflow with colorful vegetables, and pitchers of wine and juice stand at intervals. Ornate wooden chairs surround the table.
Nami's Atlas drops from her hands. "What the fuck."
"Is that... real food?" Rika approaches cautiously, eyeing a platter of sliced ham.
"Conjured," you explain. "But should be fully nutritious. Try it."
Maria doesn't hesitate, sliding into one of the chairs and reaching for bread. "It smells amazing."
Hinata takes a seat beside her, selecting vegetables with careful precision. Kurumi claims a spot across from them, pouring wine into one of the goblets.
Rika picks up a piece of meat, examining it before taking a bite. Her eyes widen. "This is actually good."
Nami moves to the table slowly, still processing. "You just... created this?"
"The spell handles it, not sure about variety though." you say, sitting down. "And sense it works, I'm setting it to auto-cast every six hours, so meals are covered."
Rika leans back in her chair. "That's going to change a lot of things. No more inventory management for food?"
You hum, "Not much different actually." taking a piece of bread, the warmth spreading through your fingers. "We already had unlimited supplies from the mix of enchantments and didn't even need to eat from sustenance. So this just cover's basic cooking, anything else we want will need to be cooked manually, but having the basic spread pre-cooked and ready every automatically every six hours will knock out most of the work needed."
Maria swallows a bite of potato. "Brad, this is incredible. The taste is perfect."
Kurumi sips her wine, a slight smile playing at her lips. "Master does enjoy showing off his new capabilities."
"It's practical," you counter. "Keeps everyone fed with minimal effort."
Nami finally sits, reaching for chicken. "I'm not complaining."
You glance around the galley as you swallow a piece of roasted chicken. "I know there's a portal open to Trinidad redwoods, so I didn't expect Erza, Liza, Sango or Tuka back yet. But where is everybody? With the jet ski portals announced closed for the day at breakfast, I'd figure more people would be here for lunch. If just for the flavor."
Rika sets down her coffee mug. "Albedo, C.C., Violet and Robin are still in the command center. Last I checked they were coordinating something with the international ships."
Nami looks up from her atlas. "Mikasa and Rin got dragged off by Asia to visit the graves in Trinidad. Something about paying respects properly."
"Musashi and Sinon are on guard duty," Maria adds, reaching for more bread. "Trinidad side of the portal. They volunteered for the shift."
Kurumi sips her wine. "Riveria is with Emilia on watch from Monkey Island."
You raise an eyebrow. "Monkey Island?"
"The roof of the bridge, that has a bunch of communication sticks and things on it." Nami clarifies. "An evolved naval term. The best vantage point on the ship for observation used to be the Crow's Nest, apparently when they didn't need the mast they needed a new name for the central tower and best viewpoint."
"Huh, educational." You appreciate before taking a small bite.
"Yoruichi..." Hinata's voice carries quiet amusement. "We lose track of repeatedly. She's not on watch so, either asleep in a lounge chair somewhere or racing through the redwoods."
Maria laughs softly. "Nova has been either interrogating or indoctrinating Rei, depending on your perspective. Where, is anyone's guess."
The galley doors open simultaneously from opposite sides. Bulma enters from the starboard corridor, her blue ponytail swinging as she walks. Kurumu pushes through from the port side, tablet tucked under her arm.
Both freeze mid-step, staring at the massive oak feast table dominating the center of the galley.
"What the hell is that?" Bulma moves closer, examining the spread with scientific curiosity. "Did you materialize an entire dining set?"
Kurumu's eyes widen. "This... this is actual food?"
"Heroes' Feast," you explain. "Sixth-level conjuration. Auto-casts every six hours now. Lasts one hour per casting."
Bulma circles the table slowly, her analytical mind clearly working. "The mana cost for maintaining something this complex..."
"Five hundred forty-five per casting," you say. "Twenty-one hundred eighty per day. Generation covers it easily."
Kurumu slides into a chair, setting her tablet down. The screen shows a pink-haired girl. So we just... have unlimited fancy meals now?"
"Beats the mix of canned goods we were using." Nami mutters, though her tone carries approval.
Bulma picks up a piece of meat, examining it closely before taking a bite. Her expression shifts from skepticism to surprise. "This is legitimately well-prepared. The texture's perfect."
Kurumu reaches for wine, then hesitates. "Is it... safe to drink? The alcohol?"
"Fully nutritious and beneficial," you reply. "The spell as far as we can tell, handles everything."
You pull out your phone, opening the Spellbook app while the conjured feast continues around you. The interface glows softly as you scroll through available buffs.
"What's he doing now?" Kurumu asks, leaning forward with curiosity.
Maria watches your expression carefully. "Browsing spells, probably."
You murmur half to yourself as you scroll. "Barkskin... no, their soft skin can't be denied. Stoneskin, same problem." Your finger pauses. "Heroism and Good Hope were great buffs in-game, but in reality they'd become personality changes."
Nami raises an eyebrow. "You're talking to yourself."
"Yeah, partially... Enlarge Person would make you all ten to twelve feet tall," you add with an empty taunt.
Bulma nearly chokes on her wine. "What?"
Kurumi giggles. "Master, please don't."
You select Mind Blank first. The spell formula calculates automatically - ninth level squared times fifteen, plus five. One thousand two hundred thirty mana. You feel the draw from the network as the spell settles throughout each Anchoring Band. "Mind Blank, auto-cast every twenty-four hours."
Hinata tilts her head. "What does that do, Goshujin-sama?"
"Complete protection against mental intrusion," you explain. "Scrying, mind reading, emotional manipulation. All blocked."
Next comes Death Ward. Fourth level - two hundred forty-five mana per casting. You set it to auto-cast every fifteen minutes.
Maria's eyes narrow as she feels the network expenditure through her connection. "Brad... that's a lot of mana for Death Ward frequency."
Rika looks up sharply. "How much?"
"Ninety-eight hundred mana per hour," Maria calculates aloud. "That's... protective, but excessive unless..."
The realization hits her visibly. You see her expression shift from analytical to understanding.
"You're that worried about us dying," Nami says quietly.
You don't deny it. "Yes."
Kurumu's heterochromatic eyes soften. "Master..."
"Magic Circle Against Evil," you continue, setting the third-level spell to auto-cast every two hours. One hundred forty mana per casting. "The mind protection overlaps with Mind Blank, but the semi-barrier against undead is useful."
Bulma leans over your shoulder, reading the interface. "That's actually smart redundancy."
"Status next." Second level - sixty-five mana, auto-cast every twelve hours. As you finalize the settings, you realize something. "Wait. Status mixed with Telepathy Web means everyone knows each other's health state in real-time."
Rika's expression shifts to approval. "That's tactically sound."
Your excitement builds as another possibility occurs. "The interface can use this to set trigger-casting." You quickly configure four new triggers: Neutralize Poison, Remove Disease, Remove Curse, and Restoration - all set to activate automatically when Status detects the relevant conditions.
Maria watches the final additions before commenting. "You just turned the Anchoring Bands into automated medical response systems."
"Essentially they already were, now they include a few magical effect resistances." you confirm, setting the phone down.
Hinata reaches up to touch her ring. "Protecting us even when he's not present."
Kurumi shifts in her seat, her maid outfit rustling. "It's very thorough, Master."
"That cover's the buffs currently available and leaves this evening's ships that we still need the list for," considering your to-do list, before asking. "Bulma have you gotten used to this worlds technological state and gone over what tools and supplies are on the ship? Anything you want me to focus on getting for you? I'd like your first project to be trying to improve or create portable energy generators.
Bulma sets down her wine goblet, her analytical expression sharpening as you direct the question toward her.
"The technological state?" She reaches for a piece of roasted chicken. "It's functional but primitive. Your combustion engines are inefficient compared to capsule compression tech, and most of your power generation relies on burning finite resources." She gestures at the conjured feast table. "Though obviously magical infrastructure changes that calculation entirely."
She takes a bite, chewing thoughtfully. "I've cataloged the ship's workshop. Decent metalworking equipment, welding stations, machining tools. The fuel-independent systems make fabrication trivially easy from an energy perspective." Her blue ponytail swings as she leans forward. "But you're right about base materials. High-grade alloys, rare earth elements, semiconductor components - those require external sourcing. I can work with what's available, but advanced projects need better inputs."
Maria watches the exchange with interest. Kurumu flips through another page of her manga, half-listening.
"Portable generators though..." Bulma's eyes light up with the challenge. "That's actually interesting. You're worried about dimensional severance cutting network access."
"Correct," you confirm. "If Gates succeed and we cross over, then the Gate closes behind us, we'd be stranded. All enchantments might reset. Preferably we avoid testing that, I need redundancy that can go to the other worlds ahead of me."
Rika nods from across the table. "Tactically sound. Don't rely on single points of failure."
Bulma drums her fingers on the oak surface. "The ship and storage already has generators - your eight twenty-kilowatt units, plus the larger systems. But those run on fuel, which defeats the purpose if you're worried about enchantment failure. The solar generators in storage would get you started, but lack the power you need." She pauses. "What you need is something that generates power independently of your magic network. Self-contained energy source."
"Can you build that?" you ask.
"Maybe." She tilts her head. "I'd need to test how your Energy Conversion enchantment works. If I can create a mechanical system that mimics the mana-to-electrical conversion, we could bootstrap a generator that runs on its own output loop. Perpetual motion via magical framework."
Hinata refills her water glass quietly. Nami looks up from her atlas. "How long would that take?"
Bulma shrugs. "Depends on complexity. Two weeks minimum for a prototype. Longer if the magical physics don't cooperate." She looks at you directly. "But yes, that's a reasonable first project. I'll start by testing detailed specifications on your enchantments and then I'll start modeling."
"What else do you need?" you press.
She considers. "Better metallurgical samples. Access to any pre-outbreak research facilities with intact equipment. And honestly? More hands. Engineering projects go faster with assistants who understand the work."
"There are a few universities I was considering visiting that are also known for research," you respond after a moment of thought, "But more hands is a complication, I doubt the electrical grid and electrical dam crews are what you're thinking of they do more repair and maintenance than testing and research, which would mean needing a second list of individuals to resurrect the universities might have willing students and a few teachers but I'm betting mind-controlled will reduce their collective capabilities."
Bulma takes a bite before setting her fork back down, her blue eyes narrowing thoughtfully as you speak. "Universities, huh? That's not a bad starting point. Pre-outbreak research facilities would have the right equipment."
She leans back in her chair, drumming her fingers against the oak table. "You're right about the dam crews though. Maintenance techs aren't the same as R&D engineers. Different skill sets entirely." She pauses, considering. "Mind control reducing capability is a real concern. Engineering requires creativity, problem-solving under uncertain conditions. If you're forcing compliance, you lose the lateral thinking that makes prototyping work."
Rika looks up from her coffee. "So you need volunteers. In the middle of a zombie apocalypse."
"Pretty much the problem," you confirm. "Universities might have willing students, maybe a few teachers. But we're talking about a women-only ship right now, which limits recruitment options significantly."
Kurumu tilts her head, her eyes curious. "Why women-only? Is that a rule?"
"Not a rule, Current circumstance." Maria clarifies smoothly. "Brad started out with a small mixed-gender group of survivors that grew into a small harem, then during a divide left him with the current members who are all female. The dimensional travelers rescued from Prometheus were all female. The pattern persists, and it would be a complication to allow more men onto the ship now."
Bulma waves a hand dismissively. "Gender doesn't matter for engineering competency. But yeah, finding qualified survivors who aren't hostile, traumatized, or already committed elsewhere..." She trails off, then shrugs. "Once you get a land base, recruitment becomes easier. Stable infrastructure, visible safety, resources - those attract people naturally."
"Which is why I'm saying take your time," you add. "We're in no hurry. Gates might even succeed before we establish a permanent land facility. If that happens, you could readjust the entire project from your homeworld. Access Dragon Ball tech directly."
Bulma's expression shifts to something between excitement and calculation. "That would change everything. Capsule compression alone would solve half the material sourcing issues. And if I could bring back schematics, or even raw components..."
Nami swallows a bite of chicken. "Assuming Gates work. They've been blocked so far."
"Daily testing continues," Hinata murmurs. "Goshujin-sama has not given up."
Kurumi sips her wine, a slight smile playing at her lips. "He won't give up and there are a lot of different things to test. The challenge is patience and filling the wait."
Bulma taps the table decisively. "Alright. I'll start with what's available on the ship. Document the enchantment mechanics, model energy conversion principles, prototype small-scale systems. If Gates open, I pivot to homeworld resources. If we establish a land base first, I pivot to recruitment. Either way, the groundwork gets done."
She picks up her fork again. "Two weeks for initial testing. Four weeks realistic timeline for a working prototype. Assuming no major complications."
