Chapter 201: Fusion
"So what if the fight isn’t over. Just as I killed you once, I’ll kill you a second time!" Solar dropped down slightly on his knees and leapt straight forward, charging at Ricky in an attempt to shatter his skull for the second time. But this time, things wouldn’t go the way Solar wished!
Kreeeeeeeaaagh!
Ricky screamed at the top of his voice, pointed his beak toward Solar, and his entire body burst into blazing crimson flames, which he unleashed straight at Solar!
Blood Nirvana - Bond Liberation!
The crimson flames reached and engulfed Solar’s body, but they didn’t harm or destroy him — they didn’t even hurt him. Yet the moment they touched him, both the Abyss energy and the Law of Destruction began to fade!
This continued until Solar finally reached Ricky, but what remained of his Abyss energy and Law of Destruction power wasn’t even enough to land a single strike!
"Go to hell!" Ricky swung his four wings and struck Solar’s chest, sending him flying like a cannonball. He crashed through several rocks, one after another, shattering them, until he finally came to a stop against a massive boulder, carving out a crater centered on himself!
Ohhhhhh! My god! My god! The half-crowned king has risen once again! The phoenix has emerged from the ashes of its fall! Returning stronger than ever before!
Uwoooooaaaah!
The commentator roared at the top of his lungs, and the crowd cheered with fervor, their blood burning with excitement...
"Hahaha, I knew I was right to bet on you, come on, my lucky charm, hahaha!" That man — the one who had wanted to take Ricky’s thigh and roast it when Ricky was on the verge of losing — stood up and shouted with all his might and excitement.
Amid this roaring, joyous crowd, Ricky looked toward the crater Solar had made and the massive cloud of dust with a hint of weakness, blood already beginning to pour from every opening on his face!
The repercussions of the forbidden technique had already begun taking their toll on him!
"What was that just now!" Vaelor watched the sudden turn of events, especially Ricky, and immediately furrowed his brows, then turned and looked toward Dalia. "Since when can the Law of Nirvana stand against something like the Law of Destruction and Abyss energy to this extent!"
"What do you even know about the Law of Nirvana?" Dalia asked him, not answering right away.
"To be honest, I don’t know much about it, but what I do know is that the Cosmic Law of Destruction is generally the strongest of all laws in direct combat, and that Abyss energy is the second strongest energy in the universe in terms of destructive power, making it the perfect partner for the Law of Destruction!" Vaelor immediately explained his point of view, waiting for Dalia’s answer.
"First, you should know that the Law of Nirvana wasn’t easy to discover like the rest of the cosmic laws — in fact, it was one of the last cosmic laws to be discovered. And the first to discover it was the Phoenix race!" Dalia spoke slowly, explaining the history of the Law of Nirvana while calmly watching the battle...
"Two main aspects of the Law of Nirvana have been discovered so far. The first aspect is liberation from constraints, reaching the most optimal state for a given thing, and the second aspect is severing the bonds between things and negating their continuity!" Dalia studied Ricky for a moment and continued...
"As for this unique boy’s law - Blood Nirvana, it isn’t simply adding the basic Law of Blood to the Cosmic Law of Nirvana. Rather, the two have been fused in an ideal way, where the Law of Nirvana works doubly on any creature composed of blood. And that technique this boy just used didn’t attack the Law of Destruction or the Abyss energy directly — it attacked the bonds between the core and the energy outlets, freeing them from their imposed functions!"
Vaelor’s eyes widened upon hearing this, and he turned to look at Ricky with some astonishment. "It seems one truly cannot underestimate any cosmic law!"
In the middle of the crater Solar had made, he rose slowly, gently touching his stomach and chest with three of his hands.
Tsk!
The dust cleared and Solar’s body came into view, revealing along with it the devastation Ricky had inflicted on his chest!
In the places where Ricky had struck, numerous deep gashes and wounds had appeared, and blood flowed from them without stopping!
After touching those wounds for a moment, Solar raised his head and looked at Ricky with an ugly expression. "You know what, this is the first time anyone has dared to inflict wounds like this on me," then his eyes gleamed with a hint of malice, "It was a good game, but it’s time to end it!"
Solar extended his six arms forward and unleashed the Abyss energy and the Law of Destruction like he never had before, then looked toward Ricky with a demonic smile adorning his face!
"This is the first time I’m using this technique in an actual fight, so I hope you’re able to withstand it!"
The moment he said this, Solar clasped his six hands together, and the Abyss energy and the Law of Destruction began to fuse!
"W... what is this!" Vaelor’s eyes widened the instant he saw the Abyss energy fusing with the Law, and he stood up from his seat in shock!
Could Abyss energy actually fuse with laws!
This was something Vaelor had never heard of before, nor inherited in the memories passed down from his ancestors, nor even something he himself was capable of doing!
Abyss energy is an extremely corrosive and destructive energy, and what he knew of it was that whenever it came into contact with any law, it would begin destroying it instantly!
But for it to fuse with a law — that was something he had imagined, yet no matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t achieve it.
"Is this even possible?!" Vaelor looked at Dalia, the most knowledgeable person he knew, and asked.
"Yes, it’s possible!" Dalia nodded her head and answered, "From what I know, this is one of the secret methods inherited by the Children of the Abyss after successfully passing the Bloodline Trial," then she turned her head and looked toward Vaelor with a smile, "and it seems you haven’t taken part in the Bloodline Trial yet — otherwise you’d have known something like this!"
Upon hearing this, Vaelor kept staring at Solar for a while, his eyes complicated, with countless thoughts racing through his mind, before sitting back down calmly in his seat.
That’s right, Vaelor hadn’t yet taken part in the Bloodline Trial — he had been postponing it until he reached the utmost limit of power within the fourth level. But it seemed his participation in it wouldn’t be delayed much longer!
