Chapter 179: The Ancestor
In another place, inside a massive cave filled with the bones of giant reptiles, there was a blood lake. Four people stood before it, their bodies covered in either dark blue or black dragon scales.
"Do you think he will succeed?" asked a person from the Dragon race with dark blue scales, speaking to another person beside him.
"The Ancestors created this blood lake and equipped it with many Arrays to weaken the effects of the breakthrough. So practically speaking, and according to the experiments, breaking through here should be easier than the other methods," replied a dragon with black scales, then he furrowed his brows. "But the breakthrough will naturally take longer!"
While they whispered among themselves about the breakthrough, they suddenly felt a powerful suppressive aura emerging from the blood lake and descending upon them. The gravity around them increased until they could no longer withstand it, and they soon fell to their knees!
From inside the blood lake, a Dragon Man with dull, dark black scales gradually rose. He was over two meters tall and stood naked before the four Half-Dragons. He clenched his fists tightly and smiled when he sensed just how far his strength had reached, then looked at the four Half-Dragons kneeling before him and said in a deep voice...
"I want the armies to be ready at any time, at any moment." He then looked toward the cave’s exit, as if his eyes could pass through the rocks and look directly at the sky. "Nearly one hundred thousand years have passed, and it is time for the Dragon Fangs to taste the true taste of wars and their calamities once again."
---
In the middle of a lake of lava, there was a massive golden cauldron filled with a sparkling golden liquid. Around it stood nearly ten people, each more than three meters tall, powerfully built, with bright golden hair. They stood atop stone pillars and threw many strange things into the golden cauldron!
Flood Dragon Scales!
Silver Forest Flame!
Golden Lion Fur!
Poisonous Snake Flowers!
Blue Pig Blood!
....
One of the men held a long scroll and recited the materials written on it.
The blue scales of a Flood Dragon that belonged to a Level Four dragon from the depths of the sea.
The Silver Forest Flame was a silver leaf of extreme heat, resembling a flame in its shape!
The Golden Lion Fur belonged to the monster whose blood had transformed humans, turning them into the Golden Lion race.
This monster had died long ago, but its descendants were still alive to this day!
The Snake Flower was a magnificent flower with beautiful colors and a pleasant fragrance that enchanted anyone who saw it. But the moment someone approached it, it would wrap around them exactly like a snake until it crushed them, then it would begin absorbing them!
As for the Blue Pig Blood, it belonged to a blue-colored pig monster that lived on one of the large islands. The moment it was born, it would go and occupy the nearest land, corrupting it, spreading destruction across it, and killing the monsters that inhabited it.
It was a disgusting creature hated by both monsters and humans alike, and it was periodically hunted or killed by the other monsters. But the blood being thrown into the cauldron now belonged to a Level Four Blue Pig!
Many materials were thrown into the cauldron one after another, and the heat of the cauldron increased with every passing minute. The golden liquid rose from the intense heat. After several hours, the golden liquid receded until it reached the bottom, and the ten people looked toward the person sitting at the bottom of the cauldron with trembling eyes. After several moments....
BOOOOM!
The massive cauldron exploded, and at its center appeared a young man with thick golden hair resembling a lion’s mane. But compared to the ten men who were three meters tall or more, this young man was noticeably shorter, standing only around two and a half meters tall.
Yet no one dared to breathe even loudly in his presence.
This young man was not as massive as the others, but his body seemed to have been carved with precision, with even the smallest details clearly visible.
The young man looked down and carefully examined his body, then clenched his fists and calmly looked toward the horizon...
Rrrrrraaaaaoooorrr!
A tremendous roar came from the young man’s side. He looked beside him and saw a massive golden lion over three meters long pouncing toward him. The moment he saw it, the young man smiled happily and spread his arms wide to receive the Golden Lion, and the moment they met....
Haaammmmm!
The Golden Lion swallowed half of the young man’s body and lifted him into the air. The young man showed no reaction other than gently patting the lion’s head and stroking its bright golden fur!
"Hahahahahahaha, alright, my friend, enough of this. I missed you too!"
The man vigorously rubbed the lion’s fur and spoke happily.
This young man was the Emperor of the Golden Lion Empire, while this monster was the descendant of the first Golden Lion, the symbol of the empire and the Emperor’s companion!
---
Inside the palace of the Elf Empire, ten people knelt before a towering giant tree that stood approximately two hundred meters tall.
The green-haired Elf Empress knelt at the front of these Elves, while nine other Elves from only six clans knelt behind her. There was not a single Elf from the Light Clan among them!
The face of an old man formed on the trunk of the tree. He calmly looked toward the horizon and muttered in a deep, loud voice whose echo resounded throughout the place, without caring whether anyone was listening or not...
"One hundred thousand years have passed, and I have been waiting for this moment! Everyone from my generation has died! Their children have died! Their grandchildren have died! Their great-grandchildren have died, and I am the only one left!"
A strange calmness appeared on the old man’s face, while the Elves beneath him remained silent, not even daring to raise their heads and look at him.
"My Liege, I know you are listening now! You expelled me back then because I crossed the boundaries, and you almost killed me if not for the intervention of the World Spirit. But now that the Dragon Wall you created back then has disappeared, and after your strength has almost been exhausted, let us see whether you are still capable of expelling me again!"
The old tree’s calm voice disappeared, replaced by a deep voice filled with killing intent...
"I will return, and this time, I will not merely cross the boundaries. I will violate them! I will violate them like no one has ever violated them before, and let us see whether whatever strength you have left is enough to stop me!"
He then looked toward the Elves beneath him...
"You have broken through to Level Five!"
The old tree smiled when he saw the Level of the Elf Empress and the rest of the Elves. "This is good."
The old tree praised them and gave them his instructions before his face disappeared once again. "Begin mass-producing the potions. Before we begin invading the Mother Continent, I want to see one hundred Level Five warriors standing before me!"
The Elves, including the Empress, quickly nodded and said in unison, "Your Ancestor’s command!"
