With silent footsteps, Rose walked down the corridor, moving past the room containing the Principal's group.
Her steps didn't slow for even a moment as she reached her destination.
"Huh?"
Sounds of exclamation suddenly rang out, only for them to be instantly snuffed out.
Rose erupted with the full power of her ability, and soon after, one body after another fell to their knees.

Rose didn't even linger for a moment as she chose yes.
Just like that, the lives of four survivors were quietly snuffed out.

A scream tore out from the side, and a flicker of surprise flashed within Rose's cold eyes.
She turned to the side, ignoring Daniel, who moved to protect his still maimed brother behind him.
Her dark-as-night eyes fell on Rachel, who had fallen to her knees while screaming in fear.
Her brow tightened into a frown for a moment before smoothing out.
This wasn't the full power of her skill. As she had been wounded by the undead anomaly, she couldn't muster the full strength of her Mind stat.
'WILL it is then.'
Her eyes suddenly erupted with pink flames, and the pressure she exuded increased by several folds.
Daniel, who was at the end of the room, grunted in pain, blood leaking from the sides of his eyes, nose, and mouth. He quickly activated all his titles, gritted his teeth, and fought through the mental assault.
When he felt the strain on his mind reach a turning point, he activated a new skill and brought out his Soul Weapon.
The skin on his intact arm tore apart without any action on his part, and his blood pooled out in abundance to form a creature behind him.
The creature's head resembled that of a bat, and it had no lower body. Instead, its arms and torso ended in a trail of blood that connected to Daniel's arm.
At the same time, a scythe whose blade flickered with a crimson light appeared before Daniel. He took hold of his Soul Weapon and threw it to the creature behind him.
Weapon in hand, the blood creature opened its mouth and shrieked.
- SKREEEE!
A massive soundwave blasted out, sending cracks through the walls and ground and shattering the glass windows into pieces.
Rose, whose eyes blazed with brilliant pink fire, suddenly snapped her head toward the creature and spoke coldly, the pink flames in her eyes burning even brighter.
"Quiet!"
A shocking wave of mental pressure fell upon Daniel, and with another shriek, the creature behind him detonated into blood. As for Daniel, he fell to the ground and coughed up a mouthful of blood.
"Brother!" Ben cried out from behind, but Rose ignored the duo once more and focused her attention on Rachel.
By now, the others had been alerted by the sudden ruckus, with many figures rushing into the room.
Elena was the first to arrive, the Principal and Claire appearing soon after.
Yet the little girl tuned them out, her eyes studying Rachel, who had fallen quiet, her body shivering.
Seeing Rose render Daniel gravely injured with only a word, the scream died within Rachel's throat, a pool of strange liquid forming beneath her.
[Sigh! Why are you acting so pathetic? Before you, any Will is useless.]
A trace of disgruntlement appeared in the mysterious figure's voice. They had chosen Rachel to become their champion, and even though she wasn't officially one, they still felt she was dragging their face through the mud.
Rachel, however, didn't seem to have heard the words at all, her body trembling like a rabbit before a predator, with Rose towering over her despite her smaller stature.
Yet, no matter how Rose tried, no matter how much pressure she exerted, or how much mental strength she could squeeze out at the moment, Rachel remained unaffected.
There was an overwhelming sense of oppression emanating from Rose that made one's scalp tingle and make one's very instincts scream.
Claire lost consciousness almost instantly, and the Principal, who felt his mental defenses about to be broken, quickly teleported away from the spot, with the young teacher in tow.
Only Elena remained behind, but it was clear she was struggling. Only when her telekinesis spread out, wrapping around her like an invisible armor, did the pressure become barely manageable. Still, she could hardly move, which shocked her greatly.
But how could she know that Rose was five levels above her? The Ruinsteed had been the main fighting force in the last Special Night Event, and with Rose having reached a bottleneck then, she hadn't been able to level up. Not to mention, she couldn't allow the beast to level up either, as the mental pressure required to control it would have exceeded her limit then. So the system had kept all the records of the monsters slain by them. Now that they had broken through, it was only natural for those records to be added to their essence, sending the little girl past Level 30.
Finally, despite the time Elena had spent in the trial, she could only use her class, as that was what was tested. Which meant her talent hadn't experienced any growth.
That she was able to defend herself at the moment only showed how formidable her potential was.

Rachel and Elena barely registered the words when Rose summoned her Soul Weapon.
A sniper rifle nearly two meters long, its matte-black frame covered in intricate runic inscriptions that pulsed with a faint pinkish glow. The barrel was reinforced by interlocking metallic segments engraved with ancient symbols, while the scope shimmered with a crystal-like lens that seemed almost alive. Hanging beneath the stock was a small worn teddy bear, swaying gently with every movement Rose made, creating an eerie contrast against the weapon's overwhelming killing intent. Despite its cute appearance, the weapon was pure lethality.
Rose shoved the firearm downward, its muzzle entering Rachel's slowly widening mouth and, with a bit of force, pinning her flat against the ground.
The mysterious voice in Rachel's mind went strangely silent. One would have thought it was because their hands were tied, but they couldn't have been further from the truth.
['How is this possible? That Soul Weapon is of the Legendary Rank!']
The mysterious being almost cursed. It wasn't that they hadn't seen such weapons before. Far from it.
It was just that, under normal circumstances, such high-rank Soul Weapons were owned by Awakened of a far higher Order. After all, their Soul Weapons would have grown several times with each advancement.
Yet, here was Rose, already wielding a Legendary one while only at the First Order!
Time and time again, this world never ceased to surprise them.
Behind Rachel's quivering figure, something unseen seemed to smile.
A smile that looked down upon everyone present the way a god might regard insects.
