As the White Spider-Man in Earth-76 with the Spider-Man System

Chapter 46: Watching the Fight

In a matter of seconds, the jacket was already in my hand—or more precisely… the Transforming Spider-Man Suit.

Yes, the jacket that had been clinging to my body this whole time wasn’t an ordinary jacket. It was a Spider-Man suit with the ability to transform into any kind of clothing, perfectly disguising its true form. Even from up close, it was nearly impossible to recognize.

Since morning, I had turned the Spider-Man suit into a regular jacket to avoid drawing attention. All day long, I carried it as part of my disguise, blending seamlessly with my role as an ordinary-looking security guard.

At first, it was just a precaution in case I was ever forced to become Spider-Man. But I truly didn’t expect to need it this soon—on my very first day working as a security guard. Not even a full day had passed, and trouble had already arrived without warning.

Damn… the curse of bad luck that follows Spider-Men is never half-hearted. It’s as if trouble always finds its own way.

With swift, practiced movements, I put the suit back on in its original form. The special fabric reacted the moment it touched my body, shifting to match my shape, wrapping around every contour with perfect precision—as if it had been made specifically for me. It felt light, flexible, and most importantly—it didn’t restrict my movement at all.

Now I was wearing the Spider-Man White suit. Without the slightest hesitation, I moved again. My footsteps echoed faintly within the narrow alley, the brief sound of my shoes scraping against the ground before I raised my hand, aiming at one of the walls in front of me with full focus.

In a reflex deeply ingrained within me, I fired a web. The distinct sound rang out briefly—sharp and fast—breaking the silence of the alley, as the web shot forward and latched firmly onto the wall with near-perfect precision.

Without waiting, I immediately jumped. My body lifted in one smooth motion, pulled by the web that now became the محور of my swing. In a fluid and controlled movement, I launched myself out of the narrow alley, rising into the open night air.

The wind greeted me again, this time stronger and colder, striking my entire body as I began to swing from one point to another. The sensation flowed instantly—familiar, almost calming amidst the tense and uncertain situation.

I fired a web, swung, released it at the highest point, then fired the next one. The motion repeated endlessly—faster, more precise—as if my body already knew what to do without needing to think.

Each swing felt smoother than the last. My body moved in rhythm embedded within my muscle memory, in sync with the pull of the web and gravity, as if both had become my allies.

The tall buildings around me were no longer obstacles. In the darkness of the night, they turned into pathways—routes that carried me further and further ahead.

City lights shimmered beneath me, forming long streaks of light that looked like flowing neon streams moving along with my speed. From this height, everything looked small, almost like a miniature, yet still alive with an unending rhythm.

But my focus was fixed on one thing—that light in the distance. A light that had been flickering unnaturally, appearing and disappearing at random, like unstable pulses of energy. The pattern was irregular, far too chaotic to be just an ordinary light—as if something was constantly exploding or surging at its center.

The closer I got, the clearer it became what was really happening. What had once been a faint intuition was now turning into a certainty that couldn’t be ignored.

That wasn’t just an ordinary light. The flashes were too bright, too violent… most likely, they were the result of explosions.

“…Damn.” Without realizing it, I sped up my movements. My swings became more aggressive, faster, with almost no pause between each web shot. My body leaned forward, maximizing speed as I cut through the night air without hesitation.

The sound of impacts began to echo. At first faint, like distant reverberations swallowed by the vastness of the night, but gradually they grew clearer, sharper, until they could no longer be ignored. Each boom felt like a heavy удар shaking the air.

Even from this distance, I could feel the vibrations reaching my body, traveling through the air and into my bones. The sensation was subtle, yet enough to tell me that whatever was happening there was no small matter.

The light I had seen earlier was now more visible between the gaps of the buildings. Bright flashes occasionally tore through the darkness, illuminating the city structures for a split second, followed by the delayed arrival of sound waves, creating a gap that made everything feel even more unsettling.

There was no longer any doubt. Something big was happening there… and I was heading straight toward its center.

When I finally arrived at the location, I immediately slowed down. With one last swing, I directed my body toward the side of the nearest building and landed smoothly.

My feet stuck to the vertical wall, followed by my hands stabilizing my balance. My body remained still for a moment, blending with the surface before my gaze immediately shifted forward.

The sight in front of me made me pause for a moment. A fierce battle was taking place in the middle of a ruined street.

The asphalt was cracked everywhere, fracture lines spreading like a broken web. Some sections were even lifted, as if struck by a massive force from below.

Chunks of concrete were scattered without pattern, damaged vehicles were left in disarray—some overturned, others crushed like crumpled cans. A few were even charred, small remnants of fire still burning on their surfaces, releasing thin trails of smoke into the night air.

Amid the chaos, a dark-skinned man dressed entirely in black, wearing sunglasses, moved swiftly. His movements were sharp, trained, and deadly—there was not a single wasted motion. Every step he took was efficient, as if he was already accustomed to fighting in situations like this.

He wielded a sword in one hand with precise control. Each slash was calculated, executed at the perfect angle to maximize impact.

Meanwhile, with his other hand, he occasionally fired a pistol. Bullets shot through the air at high speed, leaving behind sharp, piercing sounds that contrasted with the surrounding explosions.

At his waist, several flashbangs hung neatly. From time to time, he used them without hesitation.

A burst of light exploded instantly, piercing through the darkness of the night, creating a blinding white flash. The effect was immediate—enough to disrupt anyone’s focus. Even from this distance, I could feel how blinding the light was.

In front of him… the strange creature let out a low roar. Its voice was deep, heavy, almost like a vibration that could be felt, not just heard. The air around it seemed to tremble each time the sound emerged.

Its movements were far too fast, nearly impossible for the ordinary eye to follow. Every motion left behind a faint afterimage, like an illusion lingering for a fraction of a second, making it difficult to determine its true position.

Each of its attacks carried overwhelming force. When its fist struck the ground—the asphalt shattered instantly, cracking apart with a loud explosion. When its body slammed into a wall—the structure fractured, cracks spreading before part of it collapsed in a single blow.

That kind of power… was clearly not normal. Far too great, far too wild to be considered human.
