As the White Spider-Man in Earth-76 with the Spider-Man System

Chapter 2: Earth 76

“Earth 76?” I murmured, my voice thick with disbelief. “If I’m not mistaken, isn’t that Captain Carter’s world? Whew… if that’s true, there shouldn’t be any major threats here, right? No insane multiverse wars or variants slaughtering each other.”

I leaned back in my chair, feeling the cold backrest press against me, and closed my eyes for a moment. “Damn it… but what do all these levels even mean? And how strong am I compared to a normal human?”

The system answered with what felt like a basic lesson in physical hierarchy:

[Normal humans are at levels F--- to F. F--- to F- are physically weak humans, F is the standard average human, and F+ to F+++ are humans with above-average physical ability—professional athletes or elite soldiers. Meanwhile, levels E--- and above have already entered the realm of superhuman.]

The information clung to the screen in front of me like lines of code slowly arranging themselves. I stared for a moment, then couldn’t stop the half-cursed sound that escaped my lips. “Damn! I thought you were barely responsive… but you’re actually pretty informative too!”

I let out a long breath, my chest rising and falling quickly as I tried to suppress the nervous tension still swirling in my head. “Alright… I get it now. But… why are all my skills still at zero?”

Not long after, the text on the screen flickered, and the system began to explain.

[Because you have not trained them yet. The more frequently a skill is used and honed, the higher its level will become.]

I looked down at my hands, which were trembling slightly. My own reflection appeared on the transparent screen, palms open, as if waiting for my command.

“So… all of these abilities really have to be trained by me, personally?” I murmured, my voice a mixture of curiosity and unease.

Cold sweat dampened my back, yet a small sense of relief surfaced—at least now I understood the rules. This world was insane, but at least I had a guide. I swallowed, staring at the blue screen that reflected my own face, and slowly allowed my thoughts to settle.

“So that’s how it is…” I nodded faintly. “What about my status? Can that be increased too?”

[Yes. Through training or by completing missions to obtain rewards.]

I fixed my gaze on the screen, a spark of excitement lighting my eyes. “Alright, so it’s like a leveling system in a game…”

“Hmm… I should probably go out and see this world with my own eyes. But wait—System, don’t you have some kind of starting reward? Like a beginner’s bonus?”

[Initial Reward: Random Box. Do you wish to open the Random Box?]

I fell silent for a few seconds.

“A starting reward in the form of gacha? How absurd…” I muttered, massaging my temples, resigned to whatever fate had in store.

[Congratulations! You have obtained: Spider-Man Transformation Suit.]

I froze. “Spider-Man… Transformation Suit?”

[Spider-Man Transformation Suit: A Spider-Man suit that can change form according to the user’s will—able to become casual clothing such as a T-shirt and shorts with sandals, school attire with shoes, a police uniform with shoes, and various other forms.]

I stared at the screen, then let out a small smile.

“Oh… this is pretty good,” I said at last, leaning back in my chair with a relieved expression. “Not bad for a start.”

But deep in my heart, I knew one thing I couldn’t deny: this was only the beginning. The Marvel world—beautiful, magnificent, and terrifying—was not merely a stage for heroes and villains.

It was a place where miracles and destruction walked hand in hand. If I truly was in Earth-76, then sooner or later I would encounter something far crazier than just a system… something that could swallow my life whole if I let my guard down.

And somehow, beneath the fear slowly creeping through my chest, another sensation emerged—a strange thrill, pulsing faintly behind the rapid beat of my heart. Maybe this was madness, but… a buried part of me seemed to be waiting for the day when everything would truly begin.

I let out a long breath, staring at the cracked corner of the ceiling, trying to calm my thoughts.

“Forget it…,” I muttered to myself. “There are more important things I need to think about right now.”

Then the question surfaced: do I really have to become Spider-Man?

I know I have the Spider-Man System, but come on—don’t I have any other choice? Maybe I could become someone else. Maybe I could be a boxer and make money, without having to be a superhero who doesn’t earn anything at all. But then I gave a crooked smile.

“Heh… yeah, maybe not. So… from now on I’m Spider-Man, huh?” My voice sounded uncertain, but there was a faint note of resignation in it. “I guess so…”

I got up from the bed, the rumpled sheets sliding down onto the floor.

The room was simple: a small table in the corner with leftover bread from last night, a slightly open window letting in the cold morning air, and a large mirror near the wardrobe reflecting my image—a man with messy hair and eyes that didn’t look ready to save the world.

My steps were heavy yet steady as I walked to the bathroom. The cold floor sent a sharp, refreshing sensation into the soles of my feet. When the cold water touched my skin, it felt as if it were washing away the remnants of last night’s confusion. Droplets ran down my face, sweeping off fatigue and the traces of fear.

I looked at myself in the bathroom mirror—my face was ordinary, showing no sign that I was someone who would wield power beyond human logic. But in my eyes, there was something different today. A small, quiet resolve.

After I was done, I wore only a towel wrapped around my waist and stood in the middle of the room.

The cold air brushed against my skin, while the first sunlight streaming through the window cast a golden sheen across the wooden floor. I took a deep breath, then spoke calmly:

“Spider-Man System, deploy the Spider-Man Transformation Suit.”

My voice was soft but firm, as if I were truly calling something from another dimension.

In an instant, the air in front of me trembled faintly, as though an invisible distortion of space had formed. From it emerged a pale blue light that slowly spun, weaving into a web-like pattern before solidifying into a suit in my hands.

I stared at it, momentarily speechless.

The suit was… incredible.

Its white surface shimmered gently, reflecting the light in a way that made it look like liquid metal. On several parts—especially along the sides of the arms, the shoulders, and the ankles—there were sharp, clean black patterns that created a futuristic contrast, as if it were a fusion of nanotechnology design and modern aesthetics. The material looked like a reflective polymer fiber, producing a soft glow when I touched it.

I could feel its smooth, elastic texture at my fingertips—nothing like ordinary fabric. There was something within it, as if it held a living energy that pulsed faintly. When I clenched it in my hand, the surface seemed to respond to my touch with a subtle vibration.

The suit’s design fit perfectly to the body, not overly tight, yet enough to highlight the lean muscles flowing from shoulders to waist. It felt as though this suit had been made specifically for me—defining the figure of Spider-Man as agile, swift, and filled with hidden power.

On the chest, a large black spider emblem stood out boldly against the white background. Its legs stretched toward the shoulders and abdomen, creating an impression that was both aggressive and elegant.

When the light struck that symbol, a soft metallic reflection appeared, as if it were forged from a blend of flexible carbon and light armor plating. An aura of strength radiated from it—cold, yet captivating.

The mask was plain white, smooth, without excessive patterns. But the eyes—that was the most striking part. Two large, pitch-black lenses, shaped like narrowed teardrops, gave a firm, mysterious, even slightly intimidating impression.
