Why Did You Mess With Him? He’s the Evil God’s Lackey!

Chapter 160

Chapter 160: Stop Talking and Kiss Me!

Before Viktor had even registered what was happening, Heni's hands were already moving to her chest.

It looked as though she was about to undo her buttons the very next second.

But before she could begin to undress, Viktor had already raised his hand.

A white light emanated from his palm, and Heni suddenly felt her body seized by some form of energy, forcing her to levitate in midair.

"Hey, hey hey!"

Suspended in the air and unable to control her own body, Heni could only bend at the waist, waving her arms and legs about frantically in the air.

Viktor rose from his seat, walked slowly toward Heni, and looked her over.

Feeling Viktor's gaze on her, she stopped flailing and closed her eyes with a bashful expression.

As though she were anticipating something.

But life has a way of defying expectations.

What she had been anticipating never arrived. Only Viktor's calm voice reached her ears.

"It seems something must have happened while I wasn't paying attention—something that's made you curious about your own body."

Heni couldn't help but open her eyes and look up at Viktor.

Viktor was looking down at her with a direct, level gaze.

Under the weight of his eyes meeting hers, Heni grew several shades more flustered.

"Professor, I…"

"In that case, since you're so eager to understand."

A flash of luminous blue swept through Viktor's eyes. The oversized robe around Heni's body unbuttoned itself automatically and slipped away.

The figure beneath—full of elegant curves—was laid entirely bare before Viktor without a shred of concealment.

It was as though she had been stripped clean. She felt cool air wash over her in wave after wave.

Heni quickly lowered her head and bit her lip.

Her face had gone so red it looked ready to drip—like a perfectly ripe apple, the kind that makes you want to take a bite.

"Now that you've reached the 2nd Tier—has that quality unique to your body become harder to control?"

As Viktor spoke, he glanced casually at his own attribute Panel.

In his Status Bar, a debuff named 'Charm' was hanging brazenly beneath his Health Bar.

【Damage dealt to this unit reduced by 50%.】

And that was just what showed up on the stats.

But this body—living and breathing in the real world—clearly felt a rather irrational and restless stirring beginning to make itself known.

Still, this Charm could be dispelled.

There just wasn't any need to.

Viktor placed his hand on Heni's back, making contact with her soft, fair skin.

Lv25.

A Level 25 Succubus already possessed a more than sufficient charm ability.

Most Succubi hovered around this level.

They carried a wealth of experience, yet still retained a youthful, unpolished allure.

The Succubus young lady before him, however, was still a complete novice—experience value: zero.

A pure-hearted Succubus with a level this high.

Absolutely the sort of thing that would catch anyone off guard.

And at this very moment, the instant Viktor's touch landed, a sensation like an electric current surged straight through Heni's mind.

A rush of pleasurable excitement washed over her, and her eyes grew hazy with it—filled with unmistakable anticipation as they turned toward Viktor.

"Professor, I…"

"That's enough."

Viktor withdrew his hand.

The oversized robe that had just slipped away was carried back by Telekinesis and draped over Heni's shoulders once more.

"Same as before—get dressed."

The moment his words fell, the haze clouding Heni's eyes cleared considerably.

She couldn't help but go wide-eyed, her mind replaying what had just happened.

Just now—what had happened?

Had she gone into heat like Xiangyilan?

The instant that thought rose in Heni's mind, she was flooded with an overwhelming sense of guilt.

She had come to ask the Professor to examine her physical condition—and even in the middle of that, her mind had gone off on its own embarrassing tangent without her permission.

Thinking about it, she couldn't help but tense up.

The Professor wouldn't think she was someone easy, would he?

Viktor snapped his fingers casually, and Heni's body floated down from midair.

The moment she touched the ground, Heni quickly pulled her black robe tightly around herself.

She hung her head in embarrassment and snuck a timid glance at Viktor.

But Viktor had already turned his back to her and was walking toward the bookshelf.

"Have you ever looked into your own background?"

He spoke as he walked.

Heni blinked, momentarily caught off guard, and shook her head.

She had never once seen her parents' faces, not since she was a small child.

Even her name—Heni—had been given to her by the director of the orphanage.

Viktor arrived before the bookshelf and let his fingers trace back and forth over the spines of the many thick volumes, as though searching for something specific.

At last, he settled on a book of modest thickness with a yellow cover and pulled it from the shelf.

"This one."

Viktor took the book back to Heni and held it out to her.

"Read this. It might clear up some of what you're wondering about."

Viktor's voice was calm and even.

Heni took it with a slightly puzzled look, then stared at the unfamiliar script on the cover and froze for a moment.

"Elvish?"

Elvish was the Elven race's exclusive language.

To translate something written in Elvish, you would need to cross-reference Elven script.

Fortunately, there happened to be a ready-made Elf living in the house.

Heni took the book and tucked it to her chest.

If this book really could clear up her questions…

An impulse seized her—she wanted to open it right then and there.

"Professor, thank you so much!"

Heni gave Viktor a deep bow, then turned to leave.

But Viktor suddenly called after her.

"Wait."

"Since you're here, I hope you haven't forgotten something."

Heni turned around and looked up at Viktor with a puzzled expression.

Then, suddenly, her body went completely rigid.

As if some extraordinarily powerful force had seized her entirely, leaving her unable to move a single inch.

She could only watch helplessly as Viktor slowly reached out a hand and gently tilted her chin upward.

The man before her leaned down.

The next second, her eyes went wide.

A warm, soft sensation pressed against her lips, a light, tender touch.

As though savoring something exquisite and sweet.

In that moment, a burning heat filled her from within.

Warm Magic Power flooded her heart and radiated outward through her limbs.

Her mind went completely blank.

No more than a brief moment had passed in reality, yet that instant felt to her endlessly, impossibly long.

Until Viktor straightened up again, and his fingers gently brushed away the faint glimmer at the corner of her lips.

A trace of amusement still lingered at the corners of his eyes.

"Remember—stealing a kiss from someone without permission is hardly a polite thing to do. Consider this a lesson from me."

"Thank you for the treat."

BOOM!

It was as if a bomb had detonated inside Heni's head, wiping out her consciousness entirely.

She walked out of the Study door without fully knowing how she'd gotten there, her mind still adrift.

Even she had no idea what had been holding her upright as she left the Study.

Standing in the doorway, Heni finally came back to herself and quickly pulled her oversized hood up to hide her face.

Her heart pounded and pounded.

Her mind had stopped working. Calm thought was utterly beyond her.

She raised her fingers and touched her lips, ever so lightly.

The soft warmth that had lingered there—somehow—still hadn't faded.

"Thank you… for the treat?"

***

The Crow stood on the writing desk, watching Viktor settle back into his chair.

It lifted its head and tilted its beak up with haughty dignity.

"Viktor. Kiss me."

"Get lost."

Viktor leaned back in his chair with a blank expression and brought a hand up to cover his face.

Even under that bizarre Charm effect, he still hadn't managed to keep himself in check.

It was as though something had silently tampered with Viktor's thoughts without his awareness, making him unable to stop himself from leaning in and kissing Heni.

His first kiss—gone.

He felt a dull ache of frustration. Even his current state felt distinctly off.

Him—a Power Leveler—had fumbled in front of a Succubus?

He had still underestimated the Charm ability of a Succubus.

Weija beat its wings with a disgruntled flap, and its sharp, raspy voice rang out loudly beside Viktor's ear:

"Why!"

"You can kiss a Succubus, but you can't kiss me—just because I'm a Crow?"

"That's species discrimination!"

Viktor glanced down at it with a sidelong look and let out a dismissive laugh.

"Heh."

"So you do know you're a Crow?"

He stopped paying attention to the Crow, whose composure had thoroughly cracked under the mockery. He leaned forward, folded his hands on the desk, and began to run a mental postmortem.

If he had dispelled the Charm just now, none of this would have happened.

But was there a possibility…

That the very reason he hadn't used magic to dispel the Charm was also because of the Charm itself?

Viktor recognized his own lapse in judgment and slumped back in his chair.

"Succubi."

"Genuinely dangerous."

Weija flapped its wings in sulky displeasure and flew off toward the bookshelf.

It scanned back and forth, trying to find a Storybook it liked to pass the time.

Just as it flew up in front of the bookcase, Weija's gaze landed on a conspicuous empty gap on the shelf.

"Viktor?"

Weija's puzzled voice drifted over from in front of the bookcase.

"Did you give away that Storybook I always read? The spicy one?"

Meanwhile, out in the lush garden, Heni had found Cocotte once again.

This time, there was no one else around.

Heni and Cocotte looked at each other.

Cocotte, sprawled lazily on her soft, fluffy cloud, let out a long, drawn-out yawn, the corners of her eyes still glistening faintly with drowsy tears.

"I heard you came looking for me around noon, but I was taking my afternoon nap."

"Now what's happened?"

Heni seemed somewhat nervous. She fidgeted and held out the yellow-covered book in her hands to Cocotte.

"The Professor said this book might help clear up some questions I have."

"But it's written in Elvish, and I don't know Elvish."

Questions?

What questions?

Even as an Elf, she couldn't help feeling curious about the little secrets other people kept in their hearts.

Cocotte blinked, her drowsiness gone in an instant. She reached out and took the yellow-covered book straight from Heni's hands.

She sat cross-legged on her cloud and read the title.

With evident interest, she flipped to a page inside—it recorded the author's name, also written in Elvish.

"Bel Kegemo?"

She flipped through a few more pages casually, and a strange look settled across her face.

"Hmm, let me say upfront—this work was not written by an Elf."

"All Elven surnames are assigned by the Divine Tree Yadh, and Kegemo is not among them."

"Also—this is an autobiographical novel written from a male perspective."

Cocotte spread her hands.

The Elven race had no males. Elves had no need for males.

"Someone must have written it in Elvish deliberately, to conceal something."

Heni listened with growing confusion, then watched as Cocotte's expression shifted into something distinctly peculiar.

"Are you sure you want me to translate it for you?"

"Yes! Definitely!"

Heni nodded quickly.

If the Professor had said this work might clear up the questions in her heart—

Then she needed to read it. To understand it.

"Don't say I didn't warn you."

Cocotte sighed with mild exasperation and opened the book to its first page.

In the human tongue, in an exceptionally soft and gentle voice, she read aloud from the page:

"Helpless, I lay imprisoned upon the bed."

"By her—shamelessly taken, again and again…"
