One Piece: I'm not Roger

Chapter 181: 181: Returning to Loguetown

Betty did not refute this. After all, the other party was the strongest man in the world. If he truly went mad, even if the entire Revolutionary Army attacked together, they still might not be able to stop him.

The moment she moved her body, soreness spread through her limbs, causing Betty to bite down on Aether's shoulder in retaliation for the previous night.

"Hmph, you stinky man. I suspect you had improper motives toward me from the very beginning. Tell me, did you or not?"

"No, no, but..."

Aether looked as though he wanted to say something before stopping midway, immediately piquing Betty's curiosity.

"But what?"

Betty leaned closer, but instead of receiving an answer, she was suddenly flipped over and pinned beneath him. Her hands were restrained by his firm palms as the man looking down at her spoke with ill intent.

"Of course, it was so our child could come out and call you Mama as soon as possible. Am I right, child's mother?"

"Go away. What you're saying isn't right at all."

Soon, the sounds of their duet echoed through the room once again.

...

A few days later, a medium-sized merchant ship departed from a Revolutionary Army branch base in the East Blue.

On deck, Aether looked toward Robin, who was currently organizing her belongings.

"Robin, are you really coming back to the New World with me?"

Simply taking away the last historian like this made him wonder whether Dragon had any other thoughts on the matter.

Robin continued arranging her things without turning around.

"Hmm, I feel like I'll learn more things by going with you. Besides, I haven't seen Luffy in a few months, and I want to check how he's doing now. Hmm, are you not welcoming me?"

As she spoke, Robin turned around with a smile. Her captivating expression made Aether feel his scalp tingle.

"Of course not. If you're willing to come, I'd definitely welcome you, hahaha."

After spending several days together, Aether realized Robin was somewhat of a hidden schemer. Although she understood the bigger picture and would never create trouble over important matters, she often liked making things awkward over smaller ones.

How could he dare say he did not welcome her?

He could only force out a dry laugh, earning an eye roll from Robin.

Ever since that night, Robin still interacted with him normally, but there was clearly a subtle distance between them.

Naturally, this was unavoidable.

He had inexplicably taken her first time. The fact that Robin had not cut ties with him already proved that their original relationship had been quite good.

In order to repair their relationship, Aether could only do his best to recall the knowledge he had learned in the past and teach it to Robin. To Robin, the knowledge from Earth was clearly an irresistible temptation, which was why, after only a few days, she decided to follow him back to the New World.

In Robin's eyes, Aether's mind was filled with strange and fascinating knowledge. Before she completely absorbed everything she wanted to learn from him, she had no plans to leave anytime soon.

However, every time she noticed the way Aether stared at her, Robin would recall the soreness that covered her body that night, causing her to grit her teeth. Faced with this unusual development, she could only retaliate by squeezing as much knowledge out of him as possible.

Regarding this, Aether could only silently accept it. After all, he had already changed the destinies of two women.

Now that he recalled the System information, he finally understood what the Colorful Butterfly immortal brew actually was.

It was an immortal brew created by a female Fairy for her unrequited lover. Naturally, it was something designed to make things a done deal.

After further investigation, he discovered something astonishing. The Immortal Bottle was actually an Immortal Artifact comparable to a Divine Artifact.

The immortal brew's effect caused the drinker to develop romantic feelings toward the owner of the Immortal Artifact. If someone wished to remove the effect, they only needed to pour out the immortal brew from the Immortal Bottle and wait one day.

Sure enough, whether man or woman, unrequited love could drive people toward unusual thoughts.

"Damn System, it didn't even explain it properly. Although fighting two at once wasn't exactly a loss."

Recalling the threesome they had that day, Aether remembered being completely dazed. He felt he had suffered a huge loss instead. For example, he could barely remember the feeling of those beautiful women at all.

Betty's behavior over the past few days had also been vastly different from Robin's.

Whenever she was around Aether, she transformed from her usual confrontational self into someone noticeably more intimate. The confused onlookers within the Revolutionary Army were completely dumbfounded. Since when had the East Army Commander and Aether become so close?

Besides their improving daily interactions, Betty would also actively challenge Aether to nightly battles over the past few days.

Every day, she wore a different Raid Suit. Sometimes pure, sometimes seductive, sometimes mature and steady. She truly lived up to being a thirty-three-year-old mature woman.

During those battles, she displayed a madness and seductiveness completely different from her daytime self. She pushed her soft body to its limits, providing an experience that was undeniably satisfying.

Unfortunately, she alone could not withstand Aether. Every single time, she eventually passed out first.

Sometimes, when Betty and Robin met during the day, their expressions would become slightly unnatural.

Originally, the two women were close in age and had spent time together at the Revolutionary Army headquarters, making them close friends.

But now, because of a single man, they had become comrades-in-arms. Whenever they saw each other, they could not help recalling that the other had witnessed their respective battle styles, making the atmosphere somewhat awkward.

There was another important point as well.

Although Betty appeared to have entered a honeymoon phase, she had already made her stance clear to Aether long ago.

"We can only be considered comrades-in-arms. We won't become romantic partners, so don't start having improper thoughts."

It seemed this thirty-three-year-old mature woman was even more open-minded than Aether himself.

Still, even if she said that, if she ever encountered danger, Aether naturally could not ignore it.

Paying one bottle of immortal brew every month in exchange for a companion who was completely different during the day and night, Aether felt the deal was absolutely worthwhile.

While he remained immersed in his wandering thoughts, Robin suddenly spoke beside him.

"Aether, we've arrived."

"We're here?"

Aether looked toward the sea and saw a familiar island gradually appearing on the horizon.

This was the final destination of his journey.

The hometown of the Pirate King Roger, Loguetown.

As an island rich in fishery products, countless seagulls circled above the harbor.

Loguetown slowly grew larger within Aether's field of vision. Its overall layout was not much different from what he remembered. It still looked familiar, though many newly constructed buildings had appeared throughout the town.

Aether could not help sighing emotionally.

"It seems Loguetown has become more prosperous over these past thirty years."

One-third of Roger's life memories had taken place in this small town.

Aether could not help feeling moved as a subtle sense of returning home surfaced within him.

Just as he prepared to disembark, Robin suddenly blocked his path while holding a box of cosmetics and a fake mustache.

"Are you planning to go ashore looking like this? Aren't you afraid of causing unnecessary trouble?"

"I almost forgot. Robin, you really are a very capable and virtuous helper."

"Smart aleck. Let me handle your disguise first."

Robin stepped forward and carefully helped Aether alter his appearance, while he watched her focused expression with fascination.

Soon, the two finished their disguises and went ashore.

Loguetown truly deserved its reputation as the town standing at the entrance to the Grand Line. It remained lively and bustling with activity.

Thanks to Robin's exceptional makeup skills, the passing townspeople failed to recognize that Aether was the pride of Loguetown.
