Arc 13: Chapter 6
They didn’t stop for quite some time, until they were certainly away from anyone and everyone that might spy on them, and only then did Bianca finally let go of the dragon, dropping her unceremoniously onto the ground.
Although Long Shiyi looked weak, her cultivation was clearly still in the fifth realm, at the very peak of it, even, and the clock in the distance had disappeared, meaning that her cultivation was unlikely to decline again. In a sense, she had gained a free eight stages compared to the state she had been in before the fight began, which was quite the win for her, but that wasn’t going to come for free.
“So, Long Shiyi, I think we need to talk.”
“Demon Queen. Given your victory, you are free to interrogate me. I will answer what I can,” the dragon looked calm, sitting on her knees, even while her clothing was torn and bloodies, a number of wounds still marking her flesh from the fight with the Exarch.
Her odd calm was only further evidence for Bianca’s theory, but she wasn’t about to go on without first getting her to admit it directly.
“First of all, let’s just confirm something – why exactly did you allow us to win?”
“Whatever do you mean, I-”
“Cut the crap, Shiyi,” the kitsune crossed her arms, “If even our Sect Mistress can figure it out, then there’s no point in hiding it.”
“Yaling, we will be having a talk after this… but yes, there’s no point in hiding it.”
“Hah… very well. The reasons are simple – for one, being defeated by an idiot is better than by the floating rag. Then, there’s the nature of your energy, Bianca. Considering how much your companions have changed, you must have realised that it is able to fundamentally alter one’s very essence.”
“What exactly does that mean?”
“In this case, the most important factor is the talisman I was relying on to fight the Exarch. It effectively reverted my essence to a state in the past, but the inevitable cost is that it would decay once more before long – as you saw,” the dragon explained, “However, once you arrived, I had considered a potential loophole. If my essence changed during the reversal, however… well, then it might be a different story.”
“And that is why your stage hasn’t dropped since reverting to the fifth realm?”
“Correct, Demon Queen. Unfortunately, your energy wasn’t potent enough to fundamentally change my essence prior to the drop in cultivation, but the fact that it was successful in the first place is a success as far as I am concerned.”
“How fortunate for you, Long Shiyi,” Huang Su spoke up all of a sudden, “You’re able to not only get away from your greatest foe, but also recover your cultivation, if only to an extent.”
“I can make a number of remarks about you as well, false phoenix, but… have you seen yourself? That streak of hair that’s turned white, the red in your eyes…” Long Shiyi shook her head, “Regardless, the one I’m speaking with is your Mistress, not you.”
“On that note, you are to refer to me as Mistress from now on, Long Shiyi,” Bianca readily seized the opportunity, and to her surprise, the dragon acquiesced in an instant.
“Of course, Mistress.”
“Just like that?”
“Just like that. Whether I intentionally allowed myself to lose to you or not, the fact remains that you are not only the victor, but the one to claim me as your spoil of war. You are within your right to demand such things.”
“Am I, now? Honestly, you didn’t strike me as the type, but if you insist, then why stop there?”
“Mistress, this is merely me respecting ancient tradition. While it would be your right to do so, mocking it is-”
“Have you ever worn a cock cage, Shiyi?”
For a moment, killing intent surged around the dragon, but it faded the moment after, as she resigned herself to her fate.
“No, Mistress.”
“Great, then you’ll get to experience a whole load of new things. Strip for us,” Bianca instructed, grinning as she saw the dragon reluctantly obey.
She rose to her feet and stripped off the remnants of her outfit, torn and sliced apart by the various strikes that had been directed at her during her fight with Bianca, and the Exarch prior to her. Despite her age, her draconic nature meant that her body looked as perfect as ever, apart from the numerous scars that covered her skin.
There were iron scales along her arms and legs, and though nowhere near as large as Bianca’s own, her tits were still perky and beautiful, plenty to grab and enjoy. However, her attention inevitably landed down below, on the dragon’s groin.
It wasn’t her first time seeing a cock on another person, even on a woman, but unlike the kitsune’s violet, conjured thing, Long Shiyi’s cock was completely natural, a part of her – whenever she wished it to be, but still. In its current, unaroused state, it was quite small, though her hefty, hairy balls certainly hinted at the true potential of her shaft… it was certain to be larger than her own, and that was something that she just couldn’t abide.
Hence, the thought of putting a cage on her was suddenly many times more enticing.
“Here you go, hold on to the cage itself, I’ll put the ring on…” Bianca wanted to relish in the experience of sealing away a ‘competitor’ herself, though on getting closer, she was struck with the pent-up, heady musk of a futa far more experienced and virile than she was… at least for now.
It was hard to endure, as it felt as though that scent clogged up her lungs and filled her head, making it a struggle to keep going without acting in ways that would be… unwise, but she managed to succeed in the end, and grabbed the cage from Long Shiyi to slip it on to her soft cock. Fortunately, it didn’t get hard from just her touch, and so it wasn’t that difficult to finish the job and back off, even as the scent still lingered on her hands, forcing her to keep them lowered as to minimize her exposure to the potent musk.
Still, the final result was worth it, seeing the dragon be locked up in a metal chastity cage that was clearly rather tight for her. Just imagining how she’d struggle later, whenever her cock tried to grow and stiffen, was enough to make Bianca’s own cock – she wasn’t even entirely sure when she summoned it, as it felt so natural to have at this point – throb and rise, tenting her robes.
“So, Mistress, are we done?”
“Only if you thank me.”
“Hah… Thank you for caging me, Mistress.”
“I’ll accept it this time, but you better sound more enthusiastic next time, okay?” though Bianca complained, her dick only got harder, her leaking precum already resulting in a wet spot on her robes, “I’ve got a few more questions, so let’s get through them before I’m too distracted. What do you know about the Exarch?”
The dragon didn’t answer at first, her gaze drifting downwards, resting on the dirt, seemingly unwilling to speak.
“I know you know who it was, so spill.”
“… I suppose I cannot evade this matter. Very well,” Long Shiyi sighed, “Indeed, I knew the man that the Exarch once was. For a time, I saw him almost as a son… but I ought to start from the beginning. In the Western Continent, there once existed a Kong family. They were brought to ruin by certain circumstances, but they survived and, in search of a means to save themselves, travelled to the Eastern Continent. About… one hundred thousand years ago, a man by the name of Kong Xiao Long was born to that remnant.”
“Kong Xiao Long?” the kitsune perked up, “That… does sound familiar.”
“Perhaps. They met me not long after their arrival, and shared their objective. I was supportive of the pursuit, and allowed them to explore freely in my territory. For a time, all seemed well, but then they discovered a potential lead. A new archetype.”
“Exarch?”
“Yes. As the first potential path to surpass some ancient foe of theirs from the Western Continent – a man named Kong Shi Meng – they pursued it relentlessly, and without knowing the truth of it, I said nothing to intervene.”
“I only realised my error once they discovered it, and studied it. The Exarch archetype was powerful, that is true, but what they had found was the Heart of Dao. Most struggled with it, but Kong Xiao Long… he mastered it faster than anyone, pushed it further than anyone, and… I could see his very soul being distorted by it, practically being torn apart to fashion into that sigil that now burns beneath his hood.”
The dragon clenched her hands into fists, so tightly that blood dripped from them, but she didn’t even seem to notice.
“I tried to stop him, but he rebuked me, he saw my attempts to help as instead being betrayal… and unfortunately, my power had already waned by then, and more than that, I couldn’t bring myself to truly fight him. I had seen his family struggle for hundreds of thousands of years, and to rip away their chance just like that… I was caught in a moment of weakness, and I regret it to this day.”
“And by the time that you were able to catch up with him, I’m guessing Kong Xiao Long was mostly gone,” Bianca said.
“The Exarch archetype is far more destructive than even your energy can be, Mistress. It takes the very soul of a person, deforms it, tears it apart, moulds it into that blazing sigil, their flesh burning away to make way for the power that it brings…” Long Shiyi sighed, “For this reason, I refuse to address the Exarch by its former name. None of Long Xiao Long remains within it.”
“I see… Good to know. Then, one more thing – the Dragon’s Fangs.”
“I do not know of any treasure there. If someone sold you information about such a thing, you have been scammed, Mistress.”
“No, what happened was that I saw a dream in the Ghostwood, where I saw the memory of Su Guo talking about some stuff, and two beams of light coming from the mountains of the Dragon’s Fangs.”
“If you put it that way, Sect Mistress, she’ll think you’re insane,” the kitsune muttered.
However, Long Shiyi instead seemed to consider it, before nodding.
“I see. Then, the theories were likely correct.”
“Wait, what?”
“The Land of the Dreamers has been an underground faction for a long time, and they have had a slight influence on the world possibly longer than we’ve known about them. To see a thing like that, even after Su Guo’s demise… it would align with their typical ‘contributions’ to our continent.”
“In that case, do you think that’s reliable information?”
“… It is impossible to say, Mistress. There have been many cases of oddities occurring, strange visions appearing in dream, and the like, but sometimes they lead nowhere, sometimes they only harm the one that followed them, sometimes they bring great wealth and glory. The possibilities are as many as the eyes in the sky.”
“Eyes?”
“So, if you are committed to investigating, then I would suggest you do so, but be on your guard at all times. The Land of the Dreamers may have experts in the seventh realm, in which case I can do nothing about them, and the false phoenix won’t fare much better.”
“Couldn’t you get back to the sixth realm pretty quickly?”
“The amount of energy needed to recover to the true peak of the fifth realm is immense, so it might take a year or more – if I’m lucky. Do you wish to wait for a year, Mistress?”
“… Probably a bad idea, especially since the Reaper’s Grave is unguarded without us. Fine, then we’ll be on our guards. Anything else?”
“Correct me if I’m mistaken, but you’re one of the people currently wanted by the Blazing Skies, no?”
“They didn’t seem to recognise me last time… although, one of them might’ve done, but she was a bit strange.”
“If one did, then others can as well. Besides, consider your current identity – you are the great Demon Queen that has defeated Long Shiyi, someone that even they feared. You are a threat to the sects, even if they cannot recognise your original identity.”
“Surely they’d understand that I am not actually strong enough to do that, no?”
“And yet, you’ve managed to strip me naked, force me into a chastity cage, and make me address you as Mistress… what kind of message do you think that sends?”
“… You’re my property, so don’t even think of convincing me to take it off.”
“I wasn’t expecting anything, I merely explained the situation to you, Mistress. The fact is, no matter what, there is no chance that most would enable you to go through their lands without disruption.”
Bianca frowned, but ultimately, what the dragon said wasn’t wrong. One way or another, if she got too close to the sect grounds, or to any patrols from those sects, she’d end up targeted and chased. The patrols would probably be of a low enough realm for her little group to handle, but if news got out to the sect masters, a seventh realm expert could be chasing them down and taking them out in moments.
It wouldn’t be ideal to get too much attention, then, which made it more fortunate that they were moving in small numbers. Had they come with their full group, or with the full army of the dragon or Exarch in tow for one reason or another, it would certainly have made them an unmissable target.
“The one to leave with the dragon… that is the demon you spoke of?”
“Yes, master. She is the one that Hua Jun insisted was a mere victim of circumstance.”
“How… naïve,” Yi Huang barely held back the true words coming to her lips, “There is no reasoning with demons, no pitying them – they are all monsters, without a semblance of regret or mercy. They may pretend to be weak to earn your sympathy, but the very moment that you show them any weakness, they will strike, and they will do so ruthlessly. I know this well.”
“Yes, master…”
“We ought to follow her. Whatever secrets she has, whatever means she used to defeat the dragon – all will be unveiled in time, I am sure.”
The Judge was confident, and for good reason, as she knew that there had to be more to Bianca defeating Long Shiyi than merely ‘doing it’. The gap in realms was too vast for that to be the case. Besides, when considering the direction they were heading in, there was obviously something they desired, something that this so-called Demon Queen sought, and something that they may also be able to find.
Be it allies – who they could kill – resources – which they could pilfer – or even some spot for cultivation that they might take advantage of. No matter what, be it those possibilities or those that she could never fathom, every additional opportunity could be theirs to exploit if they just used it effectively.
More than that, this was an opportunity for Lei Kai Lian to grow, to confront a demon all on her own, and either succeed and get accustomed to righteous slaughter, or to fail and be left to Yi Huang to train and refine into the most perfect member of the Righteous Court…
No matter what, it would be a win for her.
