Chapter : 619
A giant aquatic golem swung its rusted trident. It aimed directly at Gideon.
Gideon roared loudly. He did not dodge. He punched his thick metal gauntlets directly into the solid stone trident. The impact was deafening. The trident shattered into pieces. Gideon punched the golem in the chest. The rock cracked. The golem did not fall.
"Kill the rock monsters first!" Gideon commanded his team. "Then we crush the Princess!"
The 4th Prince's vanguard charged wildly. They were incredibly aggressive. They loved raw physical combat. They swung massive axes. They smashed giant hammers. They fought the golems with pure, unfiltered violence.
The chamber erupted into a massive, chaotic three-way skirmish.
Princess Iris held her silver rapier. She looked at her elite vanguard. She needed a flawless defensive strategy. They could not fight the golems and the rival unit at the exact same time.
"Form a tight defensive perimeter!" Princess Iris ordered smoothly. "Do not engage the 4th Unit! Let them fight the golems! We will protect the relic!"
Sayma stepped to the absolute center of the group. She thrust her hands forward. "Absolute Hexagon!"
A brilliant, glowing golden honeycomb barrier snapped into place. It formed a solid dome of light. It covered the 13th Unit completely.
Zinia stomped her boots onto the smooth marble floor. "Stone Barricade!"
Thick slabs of gray rock ripped out of the floorboards. The rocks formed a secondary wall right behind Sayma's golden shield. The defense was incredibly strong.
A massive aquatic golem charged toward the 13th Unit. It slammed its massive stone fists against the golden barrier. The shield shook violently. Sayma gritted her teeth. She poured her mana into the spell. The barrier did not crack.
Another golem swung a rusted trident. Laxmi grinned wildly. She punched her open palm. Bright orange flames roared to life.
"Fire Torrent!" Laxmi yelled happily.
She threw a massive fireball right through the edge of the magical bubble. The fire hit the wet golem. It sizzled loudly. Thick white steam filled the dark chamber. The steam blinded the monster.
Ira stood perfectly still. Her pale face showed zero emotion. She raised her hands. Two long, high-pressure water whips formed instantly. She lashed out. The whips wrapped tightly around the golem's legs. She pulled backward. The giant monster flipped completely upside down. It crashed onto the marble floor.
"Target neutralized," Ira stated in her flat, robotic voice.
Luna rubbed her sleepy eyes. She let out a massive, dramatic yawn. A knitted blanket rested on her shoulders. She pointed two fingers at a charging golem.

"Zap," Luna mumbled lazily.
A bright yellow lightning bolt shot across the room. It struck the wet golem. The electricity overloaded its magical core. The red eyes flickered and died. The golem turned into a lifeless statue again.
Risa sat on the dry floor inside the bubble. She hugged her stuffed teddy bear. She looked at the scary monsters. "They are very loud. I do not like them."
Ken sat right next to Risa. He slouched his shoulders. He offered her the bag of potato chips.
"Do not worry, Risa," Ken said gently. He gave her a goofy, relaxed smile. "Naomi is handling it. She is an absolute boss. You just eat a chip. Chips make everything better."
Risa giggled softly. She took a potato chip. She chewed it carefully. Ken made her feel very safe.
Outside the defensive bubble, the chaotic fight continued.
The 4th Unit fought like wild animals. They smashed the golems with brutal force. The golems were incredibly durable. The stone monsters simply reformed their broken limbs. They absorbed the physical attacks.
Gideon swung his metal gauntlets. He crushed a golem's head. Another golem stepped up behind him. It swung a massive stone fist. The fist hit Gideon's shoulder. Gideon stumbled forward. He grunted in pain.
"These things are too tough!" a rival servant yelled. He blocked a trident with his axe. "We cannot break their cores!"
Gideon glared at the 13th Unit. He saw them standing safely behind their golden barrier. He saw Princess Iris holding the leather pouch. He felt intense, burning anger. He wanted the weather relic. He did not want to lose to a bunch of defensive girls.
"Ignore the rock monsters!" Gideon roared fiercely. He pointed his metal gauntlet at Sayma's shield. "Break that golden wall! Take the prize!"
The 4th Unit abandoned their fight with the golems. They turned entirely toward the 13th Unit. They charged the golden shield. They swung their massive axes and gigantic swords. They wanted to smash the barrier into dust.
The aquatic golems followed them. The mindless constructs attacked the 4th Unit from behind.
It was an absolute, terrifying sandwich of violence. The 13th Unit sat in the middle. The 4th Unit hammered on their front door. The golems hammered on the 4th Unit.
BAM! BAM! BAM!
Gideon punched the golden shield. The impact was deafening. Sayma groaned loudly. Her arms shook wildly. The golden light began to flicker. The kinetic force was absolutely overwhelming.
"I cannot hold it!" Sayma warned politely. Her voice strained. "Their physical output is massive! They are cracking the hexagon structure!"
Naomi stepped forward. Her green eyes flashed with protective fury. She spun her twin silver daggers. "Let them break it! I will slice them into ribbons!"
Princess Iris gripped her rapier. Her violet eyes analyzed the deadly crossfire. They were completely trapped. The narrow chamber offered absolutely zero escape routes. The rival vanguard possessed immense raw strength. The golems possessed endless durability. The situation looked totally hopeless.
Ken Eliot watched the chaotic brawl. He slouched his shoulders. He finished his bag of potato chips. He crumpled the empty plastic bag into a small ball. He tossed it lazily onto the floor.
He let out a long, quiet sigh in his mind.
"This is incredibly annoying," Ken thought casually to himself. He shoved his hands deep into his pockets. "The meathead warriors are ruining the entire strategy. They are just mashing buttons. They have absolutely no finesse. They are going to break Sayma's shield. Sayma works very hard on her shields. I hate it when people ruin hard work."
Ken knew he needed to fix the problem. He needed to help his team. He could not use his god-like magic in front of everyone. He had to maintain his lazy, goofy cover story. He had to look like a complete idiot.
Ken looked at the giant aquatic golems. He looked at the angry rival servants. His dark, sleepy eyes noticed a very specific, highly exploitable detail.
"The golems are automated," Ken analyzed silently. "They attack the closest moving target. The meatheads are making a massive amount of noise. They are drawing all the aggro. I just need to give the golems a little bit of a push. A very small, completely invisible push."
Ken stood up slowly from his broken rock. He slouched his posture. His untucked white shirt flapped slightly.
