Jiang Yun then loosened his grip, and the rogue cultivator fell heavily to the ground. The man was then confused as to why he was suddenly released.

Not wanting to give up the opportunity that had just presented itself, the rogue cultivator then took out a tablet. The rogue cultivator then quickly crushed the tablet, wanting his allies to arrive quickly to save him.

As the minutes passed since the tablet was crushed, the rogue cultivator was fearing for his life as he observed Jiang Yun in case he made a move. Finally, after several minutes of waiting, someone finally arrived, to the joy of the rogue cultivator.

The new person who arrived asked, "Who was it that crushed the tablet for help?"

The rogue cultivator quickly spoke up, saying, "It was me. I was the one who broke the tablet."

The new cultivator then flew next to the previous rogue cultivator, asking, "Why have you crushed the tablet? I don’t see any danger around. The only people here are a bunch of mortals along with those two girls, who shouldn’t be a problem for you considering you’re in the Tribulation Transformation realm."

The rogue cultivator then said, "This man, who looks like a mortal, is hiding his cultivation. I can’t tell what level he is at, but he is stronger than me. Help me fight against this man."

The newly arrived rogue cultivator then walked up to Jiang Yun and said, "I can’t tell your realm either. You must have a strong concealment technique considering even though I am a half-step Mahayana, I can’t tell your realm."

The new rogue cultivator looked more closely at Jiang Yun as he was confused, but continued saying, "I am Wang Kun. What is your name? Considering you are strong yourself, I take pride in knowing the name of a strong opponent."

Jiang Yun remained silent, as this man in front of him was too weak to be worth his attention. Jiang Yun was still waiting for all the rogue cultivators to gather before making his move.

Wang Kun, not receiving a reply, was furious at being disrespected. He then drew his weapon and attacked Jiang Yun with his full strength, as the opponent seemed quite strong considering his cultivation was unrecognizable.

As the weapon grew close, Wang Kun was frozen in the air, unable to move. Jiang Yun then grabbed the weapon and threw it to the side, then grabbed the neck of Wang Kun, slowly closing his hand to make the man feel fear.

As the pressure increased, Wang Kun lost his initial fury, which was replaced by fear. In the hands of Jiang Yun, he was like a chicken preparing to be slaughtered. There was no way to give any resistance.

Wang Kun asked, "Why are you torturing me like this instead of killing me? What do you want to do?"

Jiang Yun then asked, "What is taking so long? Why are you the only one that arrived?"

Wang Kun answered, "Our tokens usually only summon a member of the alliance who is nearby. In this way, there won’t be unnecessary use of manpower for a small matter. If two or more tokens are broken, it signals that a big problem has occurred and more people will come to assess the situation."

Jiang Yun then let Wang Kun go and said, "Quickly crush your tablet and get the others to arrive. I don’t have all day to uproot your alliance."

Wang Kun, unable to escape or do anything else, could only obey. Soon, he brought out his tablet too and sent out a distress signal after crushing it.

Wang Kun then wondered what level Jiang Yun was at. The only possibility that could be thought of was the Mahayana realm.

After several minutes, several cultivators arrived, numbering over a dozen. The person leading in the front was a Mahayana realm cultivator.

The rest of the cultivators behind him ranged from half-step Mahayana to half-step Tribulation Transformation. This group of cultivators could be said to be the strongest force in the current cultivation world, excluding the demonic sects.

The Mahayana cultivator in the front asked, "Why have you sent out multiple distress signals? What is the situation to gather all of us here?"

Wang Kun then explained, "This man here is very powerful, and I assume he is at the Mahayana realm just like you. It’s just that I can’t tell what realm he is at and was easily defeated by him."

Jiang Yun then interrupted, "Is this your entire Rogue Cultivator Alliance, or are there more people?"

The leading Mahayana cultivator replied, "This is indeed the full strength of the Rogue Cultivator Alliance. Why, are you scared of us now? Well, it is too late, and since we have already arrived, you will no longer be able to escape."

Finally, after all that waiting, the group had arrived, Jiang Yun thought.

Without waiting any longer, Jiang Yun waved his hand to cause a gust of wind to tear Wang Kun and the original rogue cultivator to shreds. There was now no longer any need to keep them alive, as they had served their purpose.

The leading Mahayana cultivator was surprised by the swift deaths of the two rogue cultivators. He thought to himself, "Though I can easily kill those two, I cannot do it as casually as this man has. This might be a strong opponent, so I shouldn't take any chances and should attack together with the others."

The leading Mahayana cultivator then gestured for the rest of the rogue cultivators to attack. After doing so, the man led the charge to besiege Jiang Yun, as they had a numerical advantage against a single cultivator.

The group quickly pulled out their treasures after seeing the two rogue cultivators from before die so easily. This battle would require their full power, and they couldn't hold anything back.

The group quickly froze in place as they approached Jiang Yun. The group could instantly feel that they could no longer move. The leading Mahayana cultivator instantly knew that he, too, was not a match for the man in front of them and was now at his mercy.

Jiang Yun curiously asked, "How have so many of you survived the attack from the demonic cultivators? From what I have seen, practically all the high-level cultivators in the lower realm have died."

The Mahayana quickly replied in fear, "As we aren't affiliated with a sect, each of us can hide out individually in our secret cave dwellings. Each of us makes sure it is hard to find in case we offend powerful cultivators, as we are rogue cultivators with no backing."

After thinking about it for a moment, Jiang Yun thought it made sense. These cultivators have nothing to protect, so they can abandon everything and hide themselves away, never to be found.

Jiang Yun then asked, "Are there other rogue cultivators like you still hiding?"

The Mahayana cultivator replied, "There should be. Those of us here are just temporarily banded together so that we are a decent force not to be trifled with. The remaining rogue cultivators are still scattered and afraid to come out after the demonic sect invasion. I banded this group together as I saw the opportunity, since all the high-level cultivators are now gone and the Eastern Region is vulnerable."

This made Jiang Yun be amazed at the thick skin of this Mahayana realm cultivator. After so many cultivators had died, this man was still confident enough to come out and cause trouble. He was practically seeking death, as other cultivators were smart and hid away in safety.

The Mahayana cultivator then asked, "Senior, is there anything else you would like to ask? If not, I will be on my way. I swear I will never cause trouble for you again, so please let me go."

Jiang Yun thought about it and had no questions left to ask. He then said, "No need, I am done asking questions."

The Mahayana realm cultivator felt a hint of joy, as he assumed this meant Jiang Yun had let him go, since he had answered all the questions truthfully.

Jiang Yun instead pressed down his Dao energy against the group of cultivators, crashing them all onto the ground, bleeding heavily.

The Mahayana cultivator then asked, "Why are you doing this, Senior? Have I done something wrong to offend you again?"

Jiang Yun answered, "Your group made me come here after causing trouble. I had only recently gone back to my sect to relax after taking care of business and had to come out again to solve your issue. Do you think I would let you go?"

The Mahayana realm cultivator realized nothing he said now would change his situation. He then felt regret, as there was simply nothing, he could do to change his death, so he simply accepted the situation and remained quiet.

In the next moment, all the rogue cultivators present were squished into bloody marks on the ground, becoming unrecognizable to anyone.

After finishing, Jiang Yun turned to the two women from his sect, saying, "I have now resolved the situation and will head back to the sect now. You two can come back once you are finished with your business here."

The two women then looked at Jiang Yun in admiration, as he had just saved their families from a powerful cultivator that they were unable to deal with.

Ning Yangran replied, "I understand."

Zhen Siqi answered, "We will be back soon."

Receiving their reply, Jiang Yun nodded and vanished from where he was, heading back to the sect.

Ning Yangran and Zhen Siqi were left amazed by how powerful their sect leader was.

Back at the Invincible Cloud Sect, Jiang Yun reappeared. He came back to relax for a while, as he had been so busy recently despite being so powerful.

As Jiang Yun arrived at the main hall, he saw a figure sitting alone in front of him, seemingly waiting for someone. The figure was Su Qing, but the look on her face was unpleasant as she was lost in thought.

Jiang Yun then asked, "What brings you to my sect today, and what is causing you to be so upset?"
