Lex looked at the remaining cards, only now realising just how much two hundred cards actually were. Going through all of them was certainly quite a lot, but there was no way he was going to stop now. He had already gotten this far, and there was always the possibility that the next card could be something extremely useful.

Lady had an odd name, but that didn't change the fact that she seemed like someone Lex might need the help of. He had been trying to find out more about the supernatural side of this world, and a demon hunter could potentially be quite useful for that. Sure, the knowledge they had gotten from the Hand's headquarters was decent, but it had been far too focused on the particular demon they worshipped, immortality, demonic rituals, and other things related to their organisation. Someone who actually travelled around hunting demons could potentially give him a much broader understanding of the supernatural world.
If he summoned Lady, she could potentially go around the world and involve herself in supernatural incidents while also gathering information for him. That alone made her a potentially useful summon.
Blonde Blazer was another superhero, although the fact that she was described as a former superhero made Lex think that she might already be retired. If that was the case, she could potentially be useful in the Boys world, where he already had more than enough superheroes but could still use experienced people in different roles. And if he eventually opened the Portal to the Invincible world, there were apparently superheroes there too, so perhaps someone like her could find a place in that world as well.
Then again, Lex already had more than enough superheroes.
He didn't think he'd be needing her anytime soon.
Reyna, on the other hand, seemed more like a commander. She was a demigod, but the part that caught Lex's attention more was that she had been a praetor and possessed strong leadership abilities. Maybe he should summon her and have her help build an army for the Everhart Empire.
After all, an Empire needed an army.
She was only three stars, but if she really was a good commander, that wasn't much of a problem. Lex had plenty of ways to enhance people, so he cared more about what she could actually contribute than the number written on her card.
Remus was another werewolf like Derek, but he was also a wizard, which was pretty damn cool. More importantly, Lex needed all the guys he could get at this point because his team was looking awfully full of women. Of course, he enjoyed that, but sometimes having another guy around to casually talk to or hang out with would be nice.
Unfortunately, the guys he had summoned so far hadn't exactly been the buddy type.
Nanami was more of an introvert and seemed to genuinely enjoy spending time alone. Derek... well, Derek was an oddball. He wasn't really an introvert, considering he had managed to form a whole pack of werewolves in Japan and seemed quite decent around them, but he was also kind of gloomy, especially around Lex. Derek still saw Lex more as a boss or leader than a friend.
Lex hadn't spent enough time with Bang to know him well enough either. The old martial artist seemed like a perfectly decent guy, but he was also... well, really old. Lex wasn't exactly sure how well they'd get along as friends.
Though, looking at the card, Remus also looked pretty old.
"Maybe I'm just destined to get old men as my buddies."
He looked at the card again before moving on.
Anissa seemed to be from an Empire, so maybe she knew how to operate one or at least how to operate under one. That definitely made her someone Lex should consider summoning.
She was also from the Invincible world, which meant she might be a superhero.

Lex paused.
Of course.
That was why Raphael was Raphael.
She had looked at the information from two completely different cards and immediately connected them.
Thinking about it, Anissa was already used to invading other worlds and creating an Empire. Who was to say she couldn't do something similar for Lex? Maybe she even knew better strategies for invasion and expansion than anyone else he currently had.
That made her considerably more interesting.
Cynthia came from the Pokémon world, where Lex had already gotten some pretty good stuff from the Gacha. He still wasn't entirely sure what exactly Pokémon were, though. Were they beasts? Some kind of supernatural creatures? Something else entirely?
The card called her a Champion of a region, though, so she was probably someone powerful in her world, and possibly someone with a considerable amount of influence as well. If being a Champion meant what Lex thought it meant, then she could potentially be a very useful source of information about both Pokémon and the world they lived in.
Either way, she seemed like a decent summon whom he should probably summon sooner rather than later.
Artoria had Servant written under her type instead of Character, which was pretty odd.
Why Servant?
Was this a new category?
Were Servants perhaps more obedient or subservient or something?
Lex wasn't sure, but there was also that Saber thing. Was that some kind of class?
That actually made him think about his Player's Handbook. Considering how game-like some of its functions were, why didn't it have a class system? It had Attributes, Skills, Skill Trees, levels, EXP, and all sorts of other things, yet somehow there was nothing resembling a class.
It definitely should have one.
Maybe after summoning Artoria, he could ask her how the whole Servant and class thing worked. Perhaps he could even figure out why his own Handbook didn't have anything like that.
Supergirl...
She was someone Lex definitely knew. Well, at least he thought he knew her, so he still decided to ask.
Lex showed the card to the others.
“Yup, that's her. Well, she's me, but also different,” Kara said.
“She looks different from the Supergirl I know, though. In my universe, Supergirl has black hair, and she definitely doesn't wear a skirt,” Donna pointed out.
“So, summon or no?” Lex asked.
“I mean, she's Supergirl, so definitely summon her,” Donna replied.
“I don't mind either, but this time I'll still be Kara and she'll have to change her name. Hehe,” Kara replied.
Lex understood what she meant. In this universe, Kara was already Kara again, with the name Power Girl being her superhero identity rather than the name she used because another Kara already existed. If another version of Supergirl arrived who was also personally named Kara, that could get confusing very quickly.
Now Lex had three people he could potentially summon from DC, while he already had two people from there with him. Maybe he had some kind of connection to DC.
Probably not.
It was just a thought, and even Raphael didn't seem to have any reason to believe there was actually some connection. Still, considering how often DC cards seemed to show up in his Gacha, Lex couldn't help wondering about it.
Afureia sounded pretty powerful. There was already a Goddess he had summoned, Hela, and he had gotten Hephaestus in the previous hundred pulls. Now there was another Goddess, and that made Lex wonder just how many gods were hiding in the Gacha.
So far, none of them had been above four stars.
Even the Goddess of Life Template from the previous pull had only been four stars.
And then there was Gwen's cousin.
Just a human, yet somehow five stars.
Lex looked at the card again, still finding that rather strange.
As for summoning Afureia, that could wait. He didn't really need her expertise for anything at the moment. The time manipulation sounded useful, certainly, but there was no reason to start filling his roster with summons just because they happened to be powerful.
Kurumi, on the other hand, seemed a bit too powerful to ignore.
Clones, time manipulation, an Angel that controlled time, and the fact that she was called the Nightmare... Lex didn't know what that last part meant, but it certainly sounded ominous.
For a moment, he almost considered converting her into a Template.
But he already had two good Templates from this pull and several three-star ones waiting as well. He wasn't exactly desperate for another Template right now, and having a powerful Character as an independent summon seemed more valuable anyway, assuming she was willing to work with him.
Of course, he had no idea what kind of person she actually was yet.
That was something he'd find out after summoning her.
Malenia, meanwhile, had surprisingly little information about herself in comparison. She was an Empyrean demigod of some kind, apparently associated with something called Scarlet Rot, but Lex didn't really understand what that meant.
Was she a Knight? A Guardian? Something along those lines?
Maybe she could be useful if he ever needed someone to guard a person or a place.
There was no reason to summon her immediately, but a powerful warrior with regenerative abilities could certainly come in handy.
Lastly, there was the final category of cards. Well, it wasn't really a category, but rather everything that didn't fit anywhere else.

First was Motor Drive, which seemed decent. If someone hooked themselves up to a powerful enough battery and absorbed the electricity, they could potentially increase their speed considerably. Sharon immediately came to mind, especially since she already had the Stark-built suit and could easily incorporate something like this into her fighting style.
“Sharon, for you,” Lex said immediately as he tossed the card toward her.
Witch Bloodline seemed useful too, although it wasn't anything particularly overwhelming. Derek hadn't gotten anything from this batch yet, though, so Lex decided to give it to him.
“What about how to use it? I don't know any rituals and stuff,” Derek complained as he looked at the card.
“Come on, you've got the whole Hand directory. Learn it or something,” Lex casually replied, as if learning an entirely new branch of magic was that easy.
Then again, it probably was for Lex.
He had Raphael.
Meanwhile, Constantine's Hidden Stash seemed like a good addition to his castle whenever he moved everything properly to Krakoa. Lex wasn't sure if even the alcohol from this stash would work on him, though. Being a Transcendent Self made getting drunk simply impossible, so unless Constantine had somehow managed to acquire alcohol capable of bypassing something like that, Lex probably wouldn't be able to enjoy it the way an ordinary person could.
Scar Dead was another cool ability, and Lex immediately knew whom it fit best.
As Lex threw the card toward Kara, she caught it and read through its description.
“Cool. Finally, I can just sit back and relax while the enemies get injured automatically,” Kara said.
Considering how lazy she could be, such an ability was definitely something she appreciated. Lex also understood why she liked it. He knew the ability could potentially become nasty against someone who had accumulated a lot of injuries over their lifetime, but it was only a three-star ability, so he had no idea just how powerful its effect would actually be against stronger opponents.
Looking at the next item, however, Lex was confused.
One Million Fireball (Weak) Spell Scrolls.
What the hell was he supposed to do with that?
Maybe he could use them as fuel? He wasn't sure, but there was probably something he could do with a million fireball scrolls.
The Statue of Liberty Robot, on the other hand, was another strange one. What was he supposed to do with it? Replace the Statue of Liberty?
Actually...
That didn't seem like such a bad idea now that he thought about it.
Then came the Cat-Themed Outfits.
Fifty-five of them.
Thankfully, all of them were female outfits, so maybe they could be used for some strange bedroom activities, or perhaps someone would simply want to try going around as a cat sometime. With the kind of people Lex had around him, he wouldn't even be particularly surprised if someone actually did.
Since everyone was getting something, obviously Raphael should too, and the Tech Jacket Technology Archive seemed perfect for her.

“You don't sound happy,” Lex asked her through their mental connection.
<Negative. I do not feel emotions.>
“Okay, don't pout. I'll see if I can get something better,” Lex replied before looking at the next item.

Lex decided to move on.
Isabelle's Electrum Whip seemed like some kind of anti-demon whip or something. Maybe it would be useful when he summoned Lady. Otherwise, it didn't seem particularly helpful, since no one was currently fighting demons or even knew how to properly use a whip.
Well, maybe Kom could.
She definitely felt like the kind of girl who would know how to use one.
The Mario Mushroom was another strange one. Why did it have to specifically emphasise that it didn't give extra lives?
And it also made you an arsonist...
Maybe he should fuse this with that Unshadowed Crucifix. That thing also made whoever used it worship the sun, so combining the two could result in something ridiculous. Whoever got it might end up becoming some kind of combination of both effects.
Or maybe he could go to a new world, leave these things somewhere for someone to find, and come back a few months later to see that the world was finished.
Or he could fuse it with those million Fireballs.
Who knew what kind of strange combination he could make with these?
“Dude... can you stop with that creepy smile? I'm getting chills,” Donna suddenly said.
“Same,” Kara added.
“Me too,” Gwen added.
Lex ignored them and decided it would be best to craft his evil plans in solitude.

Of course, Raphael was invited to all evil plans.

Well, she seemed happy, so Lex decided to move on to the next item.
All Things in Creation sounded... powerful. Being four stars, it probably was, but why did Lex feel like the Gacha was getting a personality?
Wait.
Who wrote these entries anyway?
Lex stared at the card for a moment, briefly wondering about that before deciding that thinking too hard about where the Gacha got its descriptions from was probably a good way to develop an existential crisis.
He moved on from the thought and looked toward the seven Law Spheres. These seemed useful. Maybe he could enhance some of his existing equipment with them. His car definitely needed some enhancements.
Sillad's Powerset was next, and Lex thought about it for a moment. Why was Powerset different from Template?
Reading the description gave him his answer. Unlike a Template, this didn't come with the experience or knowledge of how to actually use the abilities. He would have to learn them himself.
It could definitely be useful. He already had ice powers, so adding Sillad's abilities on top of them could potentially make them considerably more powerful. But since he was already planning on equipping two Templates, it was probably better to leave this for later, when he actually had the time to train with it properly.
The Odyssey-Class Starship, on the other hand, had come at almost the perfect time.
He wanted to travel through space with Kara, so having an actual starship was pretty damn convenient.
The only problem was that it probably wasn't some small ship that could be operated by a couple of people. It was a full-on starship, which likely meant a full crew and all the responsibilities that came with one.
Maybe Raphael could control the whole thing herself.
Lex glanced toward her.
Raphael didn't reply.
Which probably meant she could.
Blue Lantern Ring was another DC item. As for it being powered by Hope, that seemed pretty damn fitting for someone like Steve. Lex could definitely imagine Captain America with a Blue Lantern Ring.
However, he decided to keep it in its card form for now. He was considering using it for the World Trace Card if he eventually decided to go to DC, and there was no reason to use it before he made up his mind.
Of course he could probably use Constantine's Hidden Stash, so maybe he could certainly use this Card… but he'll lose the booze… which he couldn't drink anyways…
Longinus was, in simple words, a one-hit kill, although it only worked under certain limits. Still, it might be a good thing to keep around for emergencies.
Especially if he ever faced someone like Azazel again.
An opponent who could teleport away and escape quickly was exactly the kind of person against whom having a single-use weapon capable of simply erasing them could be useful.
