Chapter 47: Special Delivery
The traditional magical girl shifted her weight, locking into an aggressively sassy stance as she narrowed her eyes at the booth. "Which one of yous is Tony?! Hurry up, I have three more dimensions to deliver to today!"
The entire table went dead silent. White slowly, tentatively raised her hand. "I am... Tony. In a way?"
The delivery girl rolled her eyes hard, letting out a loud, grumpy groan. She stomped over to the table and whipped out a small pouch no bigger than a smartphone. Reaching her arm impossibly deep inside it, she began hauling out random boxes, getting more and more frustrated as none of them turned out to be the right one.
"Damnit!" she snapped, tossing a random crate over her shoulder. "Why am I always so unorganized?!"
Finally, she fished out a small, neatly wrapped package. In her rush, she immediately dropped it onto the floor. She stared at it on the linoleum for a second, gave a careless shrug, and scooped it back up. "Ah, here it is..."
She marched right up to White and slapped the package down on the table. "Here. You'll be charged via your Sparkle Account later for the $3.50 professional delivery fee."
Suki narrowed her eyes, staring at the slightly dented box. "Professional?"
Miss Marcy gasped, her inner bargain-hunter instantly triggered. "Fees?! Since when do magical girls charge delivery fees?!"
Meanwhile, Maya was slowly creeping her hand across the table, a mischievous smirk spreading across her face as she tried to covertly swipe the package. But White was one step ahead. Without even looking, she casually nudged the box just barely an inch out of Maya's reach.
Maya gritted her teeth, her ears burning with frustration as her fingers clawed at the empty air. "You are evil."
