Chapter 27: New Roommate
Tony and the girls were sent home early. School had to be canceled for the rest of the day because of the werewolf incident. Thanks to the chaos, the townspeople finally started realizing that the magical girls had actually saved their children. Fending off a small army of Werewolves made the locals accept that these girls were a force for good-even if they were a bit emotional or, in some cases, completely insane.
The next day, Tony was fast asleep. But at exactly 4:30 AM... he suddenly heard talking.
He woke up groggily and looked around. The room was pitch black.
Good morning, Tony, a new voice echoed in his head.
Tony's eyes snapped wide open. Immediately, another, much louder voice chimed in. "Hey! Wake up!!"
It was Pink.
Tony blinked into the darkness and muttered to himself, "Oh... right. I forgot I'm completely insane..."
The first voice chuckled softly in his mind. Hardly... Actually, I'm afraid it's much worse than that.
Pink, yawning said.
"Yeah, especially since these voices are actually real..."
Tony immediately sat up in bed, panic surging through him. "Voices... plural? Oh no... no, no, no!!!"
Pink took over, a smug smirk forming on Tony's face. "Hehehe! That's right-White has joined the chatroom!!"
A gentle voice giggled in his mind. Nice to meet you, Tony...
Tony was taken aback. He spoke out loud to the empty room, "Wait... she doesn't sound annoying."
Pink instantly flared up, snatching control back. "What do you mean by that!?! I'm not annoying! I am an angel in pink!!"
White spoke up in his mind, trying to keep the peace. Tony, she means well. Even if her ways are... socially unacceptable...
Tony rubbed his eyes, speaking aloud. "I like White. She sounds like a mature older sister."
Pink's jealousy spiked. Controlling Tony's voice, she hissed, "Tony... don't forget what I'm capable of!!"
Tony froze in sheer terror, instantly wrestling control back. "You... you wouldn't... We already established we hate that cereal!!"
White chimed in thoughtfully. It's actually not that bad... I think you're both being dramatic? Maybe?
"NO!!" Tony and Pink shouted simultaneously, their voices overlapping in a weird echo.
Tony sighed, got out of bed, and walked into the restroom to wash his face. But when he looked into the mirror, he didn't just see his own reflection. Standing right there with him-flanking him on either side-were Pink and White.
Tony screamed and stumbled backward, almost tripping over the toilet.
In the mirror, Pink looked at her own reflection, struck a pose, and cooed, "Hey... I'm cute!!"
