The Mad Guardian

Seeing everyone's gaze, Jiang Chuan suddenly said, "It's not easy for classmates to gather, we can't let two scumbags ruin the mood."

"How about this, I'll immediately instruct the manager here to open another private room, and of course, a high-end one. This medium room doesn't have a very good environment."

"Everyone can have fun to the fullest, just charge all the bills to my account."

"However, I have to take the two ladies with me first. They've been injured and need to visit the hospital," Jiang Chuan said with a smile.

The classmates, upon hearing this, of course, expressed their gratitude.

However, Qiu Qianyu insisted on not leaving.

Although her face was swollen, she didn't have any other injuries. Even if she went to the hospital, it would only be to get some medicine.

Qiu Qianyu was reluctant to leave her classmates, so she insisted it wouldn't be too late to go to the hospital after the reunion was over.

Liu Juan also said she was fine and just needed to apply some medicine at home.

Since that was the case, Jiang Chuan respected their wishes and immediately called for a waiter.

This time, it was Manager Yao who personally came to serve them.

Jiang Chuan instructed Manager Yao to open a high-end private room and then serve the banquet again.

Of course, this time, the standard was much more lavish than before.

This class reunion turned out to be extremely enjoyable.

At the banquet, all the classmates unanimously praised Jiang Chuan to the skies. They all looked at Qiu Qianyu with envious eyes, praising her for her good taste in finding such a great man.

At this moment, Qiu Qianyu felt extremely happy.

She looked at Jiang Chuan, and Jiang Chuan turned to look at her too.

At this moment, something more appeared in both their eyes—affections.

Time flew by, and several days passed.

...

A few days later, Qiu Qianyu was in her office dealing with some paperwork when there was a sudden knock on the door.

Then her assistant Liu Hong stepped in.

"President Qiu, the female bodyguard you asked me to find has arrived, she's now in the reception room. Do you have time to meet her?"

"What? A female bodyguard?"

Qiu Qianyu was stunned upon hearing this; she had almost forgotten about it.

More than two months ago, when she was with Jiang Chuan, in order to shake off this annoying guy, Qiu Qianyu had asked her assistant Liu Hong to help find a female bodyguard.

Qiu Qianyu had forgotten about this after delegating it to Liu Hong, yet Liu Hong indeed found someone.

Of course, Qiu Qianyu's mindset at this moment was completely different from what it was over two months ago.

Back then, she hated Jiang Chuan down to her bones.

But now, there's a faint affection for Jiang Chuan in her heart, so how could she bear to switch bodyguards now?

However, the change had to be made. For one, since the bodyguard had already been found, she had to at least meet her, otherwise, it would be too impolite.

Secondly, since Jiang Chuan is quite a good person, it's not right for him to be a part-time bodyguard and driver for her all the time. He should do something like becoming a company's vice president.

So, Qiu Qianyu thought for a moment, then nodded and said, "Alright, I'll go meet her right away!"

Five minutes later, Qiu Qianyu arrived at the reception room.

In the reception room, a woman was already seated on the sofa.

The woman had short hair, a casual outfit, and a delicate appearance but with a sharp look in her eyes, making her not to be underestimated.

Qiu Qianyu had a copy of her information in her hand.

Qiu Qianyu greeted her briefly and then sat opposite the girl, first glancing through her profile.

Jiang Xiaoru, twenty-four years old, a graduate from the Martial Arts Academy of Jiangbei Province.

She enlisted at eighteen, and in the same year, participated in the military district's martial competition, winning first place in the women's group.

Later, she joined the female special operations team of the military district, serving as deputy captain.

After retiring, she joined the Golden Shield Bodyguard Company in Jiangbei Province, serving as the women's team leader. She is skilled in various shooting techniques and close combat, having successfully resolved dangers for clients multiple times and holding a prominent reputation in the industry.

After reading these documents, Qiu Qianyu was quite impressed by Jiang Xiaoru. After all, for a girl to achieve such success was no easy feat.

Additionally, Qiu Qianyu had idolized martial arts stars since her childhood, and she had specifically received Taekwondo training, so her martial skills were quite decent.

Of course, such skills in Taekwondo couldn't compare to a true professional martial artist.

Qiu Qianyu closed the file, looked at Jiang Xiaoru, and said to her, "I've read your information, and I'm very satisfied with you. From now on, you'll be my personal bodyguard!"

"Assistant Liu Hong will bring you the contract shortly. The salary will be as per the figure you've proposed. Additionally, you can enjoy some company benefits. For specific matters, you can consult my assistant Liu Hong."
